This was a scam
This was a scam.
I was recommended this by my work union, so believed it to be trusted. I received £3k back and was quite happy all seemed okay. turns out they claimed over £5k and took the rest. I am now down to self assess which i wasnt aware of. After many in depth conversations with HMRC i actually now have to pay back all that money so they have literally just taken over £2k of my money with no real explanation and i am since being ignored.
Lisa was the person I spoke to initially- many of us in the same boat at my place of work.
Absolute scam
Absolute scam! They claimed for me and turns out they took 50% of the money they claimed
They changed me to requiring a self assessment and gave me UTR number
I for a fine this month from the tax office for not completing my self assessment which I don't do as I am not self employed!
I have now been sent a tax bill for £985!!
Avoid at all costs!!
STAY AWAY!
STAY AWAY!! Total scam! Got a refund in 2022 despite me telling them I was employed fulltime by the NHS. Got a refund of £1700 but now I’m getting letters from HMRC saying I owed £100 for not completing my self assessment tax return on time, totally confused me as not something I’ve ever done. my tax code was changed and false expenses put through on my behalf. I am now expecting Huge tax bill, I’ve worked for the NHS for 20 years and just paid my tax and now I’m facing this, totally distraught, thought it was too good to be true… it absolutely is!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS … if I could give 0 stars that would still be generous!
Confirmed with HMRC that this Company…
Confirmed with HMRC that this Company received my tax refund of £1555 on 12/2/24, there is a meeting of creditors as per Companies House. Obviously a fraudulent company, knew what they were doing, HMRC process refunds within 5 days, this company told me I should expect money within 3-4 weeks, enough time to prevent people from chasing them up.
Wonder how many other people's money they have kept!!
Has this company gone bump
Has this company gone bump? Had a message today saying they are unable to process my claim now due to unforeseen circumstances… the contact number no longer exists either. Something doesn’t seem to add up.
I have submitted a claim through this…
I have submitted a claim through this company to find it in security checks for nearly a year and I’ve looked on my hmrc app and it states my money has been paid to agent and is awaiting for bank payment to me. And now they have gone into liquidation. I’d like to know where my money is damn thieves
I have made a claim with them and was…
I have made a claim with them and was told I would receive I large value of money and it was 5 months ago and now I can't get in contact with them and can't access my gateway
6 months and nothing….
6 months and nothing….
Done some digging looks like they’ve gone bust “liquidation” as the Apollo marketing protection Ltd. No contact number works, get no reply from emails and done checking on Hmrc it looks like Termination of appointment of Laura Jane Logan as a director on 1 February 2024. And zestrefunds use the exact same format for a website so same scammers. Looking at the comments people Utr number and emails are all the same and getting changed 👍. So basically stay the f&”k away
Explanation needed
I'm annoyed as I completed my form 6 weeks ago now and still not received any letters or anything from Right2refund. I don't know what's going on as this should've been dealt with by now but it hasn't.
Need an explanation
Thieves
I think these guys have stolen my money. I placed a refund in the beginning of November and I have not received anything after 5 months. Not answering their phone calls or reply to my emails.
Avoid
I got one refund, they continued to steal from me and HMRC
I did get a refund, however I have been hit with a fine for not filing my self-assessment tax form in time.......why would I think I needed to do this when I never had before? £100 fine so already this scam is costing money. Then I rang HMRC to complain as I was so genuinely confused and was told that fraud had been committed on my tax account by this company!! They have received 4 payments on my behalf but have only ever sent me one, not the 3 that followed!! They changed the email on my tax account to theirs so I was no longer being made aware of anything relating to my account and now I have been referred to the fraud squad having been told I am liable for all monies owing. I have barely slept since finding this out and am stressed beyond belief, worrying sick about money I simply cannot afford to pay given we are all in the middle of a huge cost of living crisis. Do not be fooled by these people. Do not give them the power to destroy your life. I know I am not alone as several people I know have also received fines in the post. If something sounds too good to be true it is because it is not true!!!
13 Months and still no refund......
Stay away!! I've waited 13 months and have been told my claim has been going security checks... Now no one is answering emails and the phone is disconnect..
Not happy

I want a response what you are doing! Also they need to be removed from my account!!!!

not complete this tax return by May he will be charged.
Looking at other reviews for these companies people have ended up having to pay there refunds back including the charge this company takes off them also.
Avoid!

My refund is showing as paid to agent…
My refund is showing as paid to agent in HMRC account but I did not receive this.
I have tried contacting right to refund on the phone number on website but it goes to a answer machine and give a enquiry email address which I have contacted them on and no reply. I have also tried to text on the update text number which I have had no reply. Think this company is maybe a scam.
