Unexpected fees and taxes after initial payment to Rimblades
Based on the reply from Rimblades, I guess it is my fault for not noticing that "import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees" were not included in my initial payment. As a result, I retract my review below. However, I will not delete it so others don't make the mistake I made. I will leave my rating as 3 stars, since I think it accurately reflects my experience. That said, this rating does not reflect the quality of the product which is great, though maybe a bit more expensive than I had expected. Thank you Rimblades for responding.
"I ordered from Canada. I was bit surprised to receive a payment due email from UPS for an additional 36.72 CAD in order to complete the delivery. This fee was labeled as fees and taxes. I guess it's my fault for assuming that my initial payment to Rimblades would cover all costs, including taxes. Had I been aware of this, I wouldn't have made the original purchase directly from Rimblades website."

I used to order these from Amazon but my color is no longer available which is disappointing,but I was able to purchase directly. Shipping was reasonable,about 5 days. I'm in the states,so crossing the pond I figured it would have taken much longer than it did. Now for the product,I've used 2 other styles of rim guard.rimblades are much easier to install,quick and clean and no worries about bead sealing like other products.i have rubbed a curb and they work better than expected,while the adhesive was a pain to clean off,but zero damage to my wheel.cleaned wheel and installed a new rimblade in under 30minutes. Good product I will continue to use these no question.

Great product and even better service
I purchased some Rimblades for my company car and only when returning the vehicle did I realise how much money these saved me avoiding the cost of damaged alloys. During the ordering process the team were so helpful advising which colour would match the grey alloy based on what other customers had ordered for the same vehicle. They absorbed all kerb damage and when removing the Rimblades on return of the vehicle, the alloys were pristine! I’ve just ordered some more for my new vehicle but unfortunately ordered the ones for a flatter alloy rim. The team exchanged with no issues. Would absolutely recommend these for anyone looking to reduce, avoid, or even cover up previous kerb damage.

I purchased a set of rib blades back in 2019 they are still on my BMW. I had to purchase an extra one when I went down a pothole which destroyed the wheel people on here are saying they fall off the guy at the tire place how to use a chisel to remove the old one but then they realised the rim was cracked so I ordered a spare one from Rim blades and I have had no problems I have purchased other sets. I have sold the cars so I don’t know about those stars from me.

I had a set(came with cleaner) fitted by my tyre shop when changing tyres. 1 came loose on day2 another on day 3.2 months later the other 2 hang on. Possibly poor surface preparation.

Do not protect the wheels if impacted
I found them very easy to fit. I’ve had them on my car for about 10 months and they have never ever come off. The only problem with them is if you hit the curb they do not save your wheels they just crumbled and fall off. I use them to cover up the damage that’s all they are good for.
