Excellent IQ test. Easy to navigate and love how my results were broken down. Very helpful knowing what my strengths and weaknesses are. Highly recommend.
Breach of guidelines
Not even close to being accurate
Firstly, these results are highly skewed because of the data set obtained from the subset of the population that they're actually using for calibration of their mean, average, and median scores.
The population that they are using for calibration is heavily skewed and is not representative of the general population. It consists of gamers, puzzlers, techies, people that game the system, and digital natives of a much younger age group.
The tests themselves are totally based online and the results heavily influenced by type of device and level of usage of said device(s). You can see this in the results... especially in the processing speed test which is not about accuracy but literally how fast you can click a button on an image or simply touch an image through your iPad which is even faster and gives you an advantage in score.
The N level subject pool is also exceedingly tiny and heavily specialized... not representative of the general population at all. So whatever the score you get you are being compared and contrasted against an isolated population of techies, gamers, puzzlers, and online system gamers who may have done the test 20 times over under different identities and for the final test simply registered as one separate identity to get the higher score for it.
In my opinion, the results are not valid at all but heavily biased. With an SB score of 128 and a RIOT score of 102 with a bizarre fluid reasoning in the top 7%, this tells us something is indeed very wrong with this test. And not worth 20 cents never mind $22. It may have +/- 5 margin of error against its own subset of the population, but definitely not against the general population which is what counts.
In my MBA I was trained by one of Stanford's great statisticians and I dread to show him this test and the data behind it. He would write a book... His 49th! :-)
Its a total scam

I have taken an official test administered by a psychologist, and the results from this test were completely different. NOT CREDIBLE
As someone who administers...
I am disenchanted with Riot IQ. I have been following Riot IQ for quite a while and was excited during its development. I was considering administering Riot IQ at one point as a quick and free cognitive assessment for my patients. However, as a consumer, "free" is the operative word; Riot IQ was going to be a free online test for 'the people as a whole' which would rival the WAIS-IV and make intelligence testing more accessible, but from my perspective, it seems monetary incentives spoke louder and they pivoted.
Nowadays, their test is built to look like established measures such as the WAIS-IV, but lacks in proper psychometric data, validation, and standardization (which is exactly what makes real assessments meaningful). Their scant norms appear to be based on participants from Prolific -- a place where people take online surveys for a bit of cash -- data is questionable based on how Prolific samples usually look. The norms are relatively lackluster as a result, so I sadly regret taking Riot IQ.
The online community around Riot IQ might disappoint you as well. Their subreddit is filled with low-effort, repetitive promotion, and many accounts seem focused on shutting down criticism rather than discussing limitations. Meanwhile, developers seem to be putting far more effort into advertising and branding, instead of improving their assessment.
There have unfortunately been an influx of products like Riot IQ lately; commercial products which function as diluted echoes of well-validated tests like the WAIS-IV, in contrast to products which actually break ground and contribute meaningfully to psychometrics... so I highly do not recommend Riot IQ for anyone genuinely looking for accurate results, but I guess I can respect the hustle.

Solid test
I thought the test overall was very good. It's consistent with my academic and professional record. I expected lower scores overall, so it was a nice surprise. I had two scores lower than what I expected. For computation, my somewhat slow reaction time made it hard to click the answer in time. Since the next question pops up when the previous question's time expires, I'd answer the next question wrongly without being able to read it. That's the only subtest where I'm pretty sure I'm more capable than the score indicated (although maybe not by much). For abstract matching, it was my second-lowest percentile, but I thought it was one of the easiest subtests in the moment. It's a good reminder to be humble. No UI or reaction time issues there. I really enjoyed the test, learned about my cognitive profile, and found a blind spot.
Highly recommend!!
Great experience, test is thorough and unlike anything I've taken online! Highly recommend.
Riot IQ test is great!
Excellent IQ test. Easy to navigate and love how my results were broken down. Very helpful knowing what my strengths and weaknesses are. Highly recommend.
Very professional and trustworthy
Very professional and trustworthy. You can tell that they use scientific-based testing. They're also very affordable.
RIOT IQ test was a great experience
RIOT IQ test was a great experience. I liked the UI and found the results credible given its professional development. I would definitely recommend it!

Not usually a huge believer in IQ tests but this one is unique and much more intuitive than any others I’ve come across. Great experience!
The best online IQ test, by leaps and bounds.
I have been following the development of the RIOT for a few months now, as I was hoping to corroborate the scores I received on a professional test. As many will be aware, the majority (or even the totality) of online IQ tests range from poor, invalid and unreliable (at best) to outright scams. I could see the potential for a genuine online IQ test that could be comparable to the WAIS or Stanford Binet, and was excited to hear about the development of the RIOT. Well, it has been released and after taking the test and seeing my results, I can confirm that my hopes have been fulfilled. This is, in my opinion, the best online IQ test available, which would not really be saying much based on the poor quality of other online tests, but the RIOT is far beyond anything else available. Annecdotally, my scores were similar enough to my professional tests to give me confidence in the RIOT results. And other people I know who have taken the test have reported a similar experience. If you want to know more about your cognitive abilities, purely for curiousity, then this is the test to take. As someone who has had numerous tests with professionals over the years, I can recommend it wholeheartedly. To me, it is indistinguishable from these tests in terms of quality. The only difference is the method of delivery, which itself is of a high quality and very easy to use. Great work, RIOT IQ! I am one very happy customer!
Fantastic test from fantastic people
The people at Riot IQ are great and what they're doing is seriously needed. I've been on their discord for a while, read a ton of the stuff they're doing. This is all rooted in science and far from a scam. They've been working on it for years and even offer a free test for people who might not be interested in paying for a full test. They offer refunds if you're not happy with the experience and have been pretty open this is still in beta. How can it be a scam?
I took the test today and it went perfectly. Ebery subtest was explained clearly and the length and type of questions all seemed fair. Their team is always available for any issues.
It's pretty obvious to me the negative reviews are coming from the same people who love to ostracized the whole field because it goes against their beliefs.
SCAM ALERT, SCAM ALERT, MANIPULATED INTO BUYING FAKE RESULTS
Everything about this IQ test is fishy and played out. The norms are WAY off and yet its advertised as the best in the world. What a fraud you guys. I'm a licensed psychologist and let me say this is a FRAUD and a SCAM. Manipulation moggers for sure, doing everything they can to cover up the truth with fake 5-star reviews. Shame on you!!!

This test is really incredible
This test is really incredible. I love that it measures intelligence holistically over a large number of subtests unlike other IQ tests online. It was also really fun to take. They also really go into the details about the scientific accuracy and legitimacy so I feel like the scores you get are actually real and not just loose estimates.
The worlds worst online iq test
This is a terribly self-advertised test created by a team of criminals. Really that's what these guys are. They made every possible false claim possible just to take advantage of good natured people. I say this because I know IQ tests well, and I took this test the second it came out. I waited for literally over a year for it. I was shocked and thought i was being trolled, however when I looked at the calendar i realized no, this is not April 1st.

Excellent Experience all round
I took the full riot iq test and my experience was amazing. The final score was similar to other tests I've taken previously and the testing experience was super intuitive.
But beyond the final score, the analysis of my performance in the subtests told me a lot about myself, strengths and weaknesses.
I highly recommend the test for anyone interested.

It's truly impressive to see such a strong first release for an online professional testing option, something many of us have been hoping for! This test introduces some genuinely interesting and novel items across key components of intelligence, including processing speed, working memory, and visuospatial capacity. This alone speaks volumes about its potential.
The foundation of this service are incredibly promising and this initial offering is a quality experience and clearly a credible step forward. With the addition of more verbal questions and some subtle refinements, this test has strong and genuine potential to become a leading professional assessment. It's exciting to finally have such a promising option available.

It's okay but a bit under delivered
I waited and waited for this test to come out and I have to be completely honest, I was a little bit disappointed. It just wasn't the excellent, beautiful thing I thought it was going to be, sorry. I took the free version, but was also a bit down that it has a pay scale.
