I had the pleasure of two people who…

I had the pleasure of two people who really went above and beyond to help me get this job first Gracie put forward my application before her holiday and passed me to tom who took up the mantel both there correspondence between me and my new employer was amazing they are both friendly, professional and with a sense of humour which really made me feel at ease
They are both a credit to your company I have the upmost respect for the both of them
I would not hesitate to recommend rise to my colleagues and friends

Very Disappointing Harry.

Applied for a role at Rise technical. Had an email the following day from Harry Heal who falsely claimed 'I called today to discuss your current situation'

I called Harry Heal TWICE no answer. Left message on both occasions. I followed this up with an email, again no reply.

After still no reply i sent Harry the following email;

'Despite leaving two voicemails and replying to your original email, I have not received a response to any of my communications. This is particularly concerning as your initial email stated that you had called me, which was not the case.

'I find this lack of communication and the misrepresentation regarding the call to be highly unprofessional. The job search process is already stressful, and situations like this only add to the burden.

I intend to file a formal complaint regarding the issues I have outlined.'

Finally Harry decided to do some work and reply;

'Hi Darren

Thanks for the email and I am sorry to be challenging to reach, this is not the intention,

You are still shortlisted, I will endeavour to return the call this week coming.

Guess what still didn't call. Unprofessional to say the least.

I needed to speak to Harry as the job description was confusing to say the least;
Field 'Service Engineer (Coffee / ATM /Photocopier)'

UPDATE 19/09/25 Neither Harry or Brad have contacted since my poor review.
I have since filed a complaint to Tom Whittock, who, guess what never responded.
I have never known such an unprofessional company as Rise Technical.

Professional

A Rise Technical consultant approached me with a new opportunity, then put me together with the company a host of times for a rigorous interview process. I was always kept updated and in the loop. Changing job was easy, with Rise doing a lot of the paperwork.

Polite, Passionate and Professional

Cannot speak to the wider company but the representative from the Bristol Office I dealt with was polite, passionate and professional; he was always happy to help and went out of his way to find out answers to my questions throughout the process.

**EDIT** Person I dealt with was named Josh Florence.

Reneged on Agreement

After using Rise for approx 5 years - they were struggling to obtain the right candidates - we agreed to take someone lower technically and train them up - but on the understanding that if they didnt work in a set time frame we would be credited for their fee - or offered a replacement. they didnt work out - rise offered a replacement - then dragged their feed, although they said we submitted 24 cv all rejected by us because they didn't meet the job spec. and now after admitting they had dragged their feet for last 6 months - our credit has expired with them. Very poor business model offering credits, putting poor quality CV's in front of people to pretend their working then going radio silence till the periods exceed. Would i us rise again No - i have now employed 19 new team members using indeed directly ( who are all still employed). The quality of the candidates available isn't at question as they have not measure of this, the way in which they take your money, agree things and then manufacture radio silence to let the period expire is. Even the consultant openly admitted that he had dragged his feet as he had spent to much time on it for no results.... untrustworthy. thanks for the reply, appreciated. However, your consultant was in contact prior to this review hence the review being left on his performance. No one has contacted me post review other than the message below

Message left from a recruiter, but you can't call them back!

I had a message left from a recruiter whilst I was on a call and phoned straight back but it just rang out. Send a text message asking them to call and also emailed them.... 6 weeks later still no response...!
I emailed a number of other people at rise and also their general enquiry address several times. I have called and nothing but answer phones. Leaving voicemail after voicemail including on their main office number and various recruiters voicemails. After the 5 week, eventually somebody picked up the phone and promised me that a manager would call me back, but they never did. They clearly have little interest in earning their commission or helping companies find new staff.
When I am looking for staff in the future, I won't even consider using them as I now know they are useless at their job and they would waste my companies time and budget.
