If I could give minus stars

If I could give minus stars, I would. Horrible experience. Their customer service representative Klaudia could benefit from practicing some reading with comprehension skills. They made a mistake but she apparently couldn’t care less and doesn’t see any problem with them not delivering the service I paid for. She doesn’t seem to comprehend how someone without a car would find it difficult to pick a parcel from a completely different inaccessible village outside of town where I live. Mind you, I paid more than 10 euros for a home delivery. Nobody even tried to call me or reach me. They threw my package to the parcel shop. She insisted their solution was for my convenience. Rituals is taking zero responsibility for ruining my birthday gift for a friend, wasting my time, and also money. Given their current attitude, it will be very difficult to get my refund including the delivery fee back. Laughable. Never again

Shambolic is an understatement - Terrible Customer Service when you need Assistance

UPDATE - 20/12/25.
It has been 47 days since my order was lost (3/11/25). I still have no refund and no order.
Rituals promised they would refund in 14 days and raise a formal complaint. Neither have been completed.
While I am but a drop in the ocean, I will never purchase from this joke of a company again (customer for 4+ years, always buy the big advent calendar every year).

Made an order online for their advent calendar and a few other bits. They use Yodel.
My parcel (jdue to the amount spent I assume) required photo and signature upon delivery. Yodel claimed delivered without this proof.

Rituals have spent 5 days (original delivery was 2/11/25, today is 7/11/25) "investigating", and as it currently stands I'm nearly £200 out of pocket, and neither Rituals not Yodel are admitting fault.

I've bought from Rituals for several years, however I will never buy from this awful company ever again, and I strongly advise everyone avoids buying online from them.

Disappointing experience and unacceptable gift presentation

I wanted to purchase a bathrobe that was not available online, so I visited several Rituals shops to find the size and color I needed. In one of the stores, I found the bathrobe in the exact color and size I wanted. I saw several of them, and the salesperson confirmed that they had plenty in stock. I told her I would come back later to buy it along with other items.

When I returned to the shop a few days later and asked for the green bathrobe in size XL, the sales assistant told me it was impossible and that they had never had that color. I explained that I had seen it in that same store a few days earlier. She asked a colleague, who said the same thing — that they had never had it.

I insisted and asked if they could please check, since I was sure I had seen several of them. They first checked online and told me it was available there. I explained that it was actually out of stock online, which was the reason I had gone to the store in the first place. After insisting again, they finally agreed to check in the back. They returned with the exact bathrobe I had seen and told me, “You’re lucky, this is the last one — exactly the size and color you wanted.”

When I went to pay, I mentioned that it was a gift. However, when they handed it to me, it didn’t even have the original plastic packaging. The sales assistant simply balled it up and handed it to me, which was completely unpresentable. I asked if it could be placed in a bag. She said she didn’t have the original bag, so I asked to purchase a gift bag. Even then, the bathrobe was placed inside in a very messy way.

I don’t mind paying for a bag or waiting a bit longer, but this entire experience was far below expectations. I was repeatedly told that they didn’t have a product that they clearly did have, and the gift presentation was completely unacceptable. I would expect much more from a company like Rituals, especially when purchasing an item that costs around 1,000 danish crowns.

It is the first time I have tried…

It is the first time I have tried rituals. I have sensitive skin they say their skincare is suitable for sensitive skin. I order oil and moisturiser but on applying the product the fragrance was overpowering and it made my skin itch I had to wash it of. They should not be advertising it as suitable for sensitive skin because it is not. There is no reason to make skincare smell like perfume. It is a waste of money when you are assured it is ok for sensitive skin then you try it and find it is not

WORST WORKPLACE

If you want the worst workplace ever, take this job. They have no humanity; the only thing they care about is sales figures and how many customers they can deceive in a day. They couldn't care less about their employees; you're seen as a money-making tool. You're good enough as long as they can use you and you bring in money. You're constantly monitored by management. And then they kick you out when you're sick or burned out with stress. Absolutely no sympathy. And by the way, terrible pay. But a lot of tasks

Second to none customer service at Rituals Trafford Centre

Both my daughter and myself have visited the Trafford Centre for skin care advice and products and have had a second to none customer service from the manager Jenny and also her colleague who unfortunately I do not know her
name. The products advised and sold to us are for my daughters wedding in July. Given I am the mother of the bride I want to ensure her day is perfect in everyway. The team in rituals have made us feel that on the day we will positively be glowing and I would recommend this store to anyone. We will be back to continue supporting this store with our custom and also to share our wedding pictures as requested by the girls there. Thankyou once again Jenny and your team.

Favourite products and amazing service

The products are great, especially the current limited edition- I stopped by the store in Ballerup centre to get something from it before it was gone, the store assistant was extremely polite without being in my face. He asked me if I needed any sort of advice and provided me such only after I asked. The ginger tea was delicious, all the products I tried smelled and felt great and he showed me as many testers as I wanted as many times as I needed to make my choice. He also realised I never received my welcome gift for joining the membership club (I had completely forgotten about it) so that was a nice addition.

I bought a pyjama in the online store.

I bought a pyjama in the online store.
Due to the price, I was offered a gift.
Delivery wast fast, unfortunately the gift did not arrive.

I tried the product out, and it did not fulfill my quality demands. I wanted to return it. I went on the website and requested a return label. This is when the fun started... I took the customer service almost 2 months to send me a correct return sticker. After writing to them every second day + around 15 calls, I managed to get a correct one. Finally after more than 2 month, I received the money back.

As much as I like stationary ritual shops, I would never recommend anyone to do the online shopping there, especially clothes.
