Our son started guitar with Michael in a group lesson and quickly moved onto one to one lessons. He knew absolutely nothing about guitar when he started and Michael took him from that to passing grade 4 at age 12. He’s currently working on his grade 5. Michael is an excellent teacher.

He has just started singing lessons with Georgina too and thoroughly enjoyed his first one. He was really enthusiastic when he got home and said Georgina was very friendly and very funny and made the lesson really good fun. He’s looking forward to his next one.

Riverside has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the service from the office is great too. Whenever we’ve needed something Joanna and Emma have come back really quickly. They are very efficient and helpful.

If you are looking for instrument tuition, I’d definitely recommend Riverside.

Logan has really enjoyed lessons with Michael- He is happy and enthused when he comes out of lessons and his guitar playing has improved greatly.

I feel I’ve benefitted a lot from taking lessons at riverside. I’ve grown a lot in confidence in my own guitar knowledge and continue to build on that knowledge from my tutor Cameron. I really enjoy lessons, learning new songs and Cameron’s way of breaking songs down into chunks and working on each bit before bringing the song together, also helping me to find the techniques in parts I may be struggling to understand. Such a friendly atmosphere and lessons with Cameron are relaxed and I’m learning lots from him helping me to become a more confident guitar player m
