Rocky Mountain Solar Co. is a Calgary-based solar energy company specializing in residential solar, commercial solar, battery energy storage, and EV charging solutions throughout Alberta. Founded in 2021, we help homeowners, businesses, farms, commercial properties, and industrial facilities reduce electricity costs, generate their own renewable energy, and improve energy independence through professionally designed solar and energy systems. We provide complete solar PV design and installation services, including system design, energy production analysis, permitting, electrical work, installation, commissioning, monitoring, and ongoing support. Every solar system is designed specifically for the property, taking into consideration electricity consumption, roof condition, shading, available roof space, electrical infrastructure, and the customer's long-term energy goals. Rocky Mountain Solar has extensive experience with commercial and industrial solar installations, from smaller commercial systems to larger solar arrays for businesses and organizations. Our commercial solar solutions are designed to help reduce operating expenses, offset daytime electricity consumption, and provide long-term energy savings while integrating with existing electrical infrastructure. We also specialize in battery energy storage systems, including the Tesla Powerwall 3. Powerwall 3 can provide backup power during outages while allowing customers to store and use energy when it is most beneficial. Battery storage can be paired with solar or installed as a standalone energy storage solution, depending on the property's needs and electrical configuration. In addition to solar and battery storage, Rocky Mountain Solar provides Level 2 and Level 3 EV charging solutions for homes, businesses, commercial properties, and vehicle fleets. Our team can help customers evaluate their electrical capacity, determine the appropriate charging equipment, and develop an installation solution that fits their property and future energy requirements. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Rocky Mountain Solar serves customers throughout Calgary and communities across Alberta, including Canmore, Cochrane, Airdrie, Okotoks, Chestermere, Red Deer, and surrounding areas. Our team has experience working on residential homes, commercial buildings, agricultural properties, industrial facilities, and unique or technically challenging projects. Rocky Mountain Solar is a Certified B Corporation and COR-certified company, reflecting our commitment to responsible business practices, workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and creating long-term value for our customers and communities. We also work closely with our sister company, Lynnwood Roofing, allowing us to provide integrated roofing and solar solutions when roof work is required as part of a solar project. Whether you are considering solar panels for your home, a commercial solar installation, a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery, or EV charging infrastructure, Rocky Mountain Solar provides a complete solution from initial consultation and design through installation, commissioning, and ongoing system support. Rocky Mountain Solar is fantastic. If you are shopping for solar in the Calgary area, make sure you get a quote from them. They use quality materials, and my array has actually produced more than what they predicted in the first year. Also, their price was final. No extras or add ons. Great job Rocky Mountain. Thank you!
Really happy with my install. They did a great job and have a great team to work with.
Rocky Mountain Solar was recommended to me by a colleague, and I couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and execution of their team. From start to finish, my questions and concerns were addressed promptly and I was left more than satisfied with the end result. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a solar solution.
I researched the benefits of solar very much before deciding to take the leap. Found Rocky Mountain was the most customer forward installer. Larysa and Martha were there to answer any question and hand hold me through the process. From getting the interest free loan from the Government, permits, inspections... it's a lot but they made it very easy. Thanks RMS team
