RNB Solar Reviews

RNB installed 10 solar panels/ battery in August 2025. The project was completed on schedule and within the agreed budget. The workmanship and customer service was excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend RNB for its expertise and highly professional service.
Thank you to Paul and team

I wanted to use a local company that were experienced in not only installing Solar but had a wider understanding and knowledge of electrical installations. RNB fitted the bill perfectly. From initial survey, to installation, nothing was too much trouble. There was absolutely no pressure selling, they were very flexible when I made alterations to my requirements. Everything was clearly explained prior to installation. I wanted maximum panels on my two roof orientations, a battery, ev charger as well as solar power diversion to my immersion tank to heat my hot water, a complex install.
The installer, Mac, was highly professional and extremely knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the process from start to finish. I cannot praise the whole team highly enough, from Paul, the MD, who took the time to visit the site numerous times to check I was satisfied and happy with the way the install was going, to Pratik and Dave in the office . All in all, I don’t think you can get a better company to install your solar system. One very satisfied customer!
A deserved 5 stars. Thank you guys.

Full design, build and installation of a 168kW system by Paul, Andy & the guys at RNB. Installed during a cold and sometimes wet December but didn't lose any days and in fact the installation was finished a week ahead of schedule. Very pleased with the installation and the daily output we are achieving even in these first few overcast months of the year.

Quite simply an amazingly professional service from RNB from start to finish. Paul and the team let you know what they are doing and when - and they stick to it. If you're thinking of getting solar panels, we could not recommend them highly enough

Great service and excellent installation. Paul and the team always responded swiftly to any issues

The guys were all knowledgeable and the installation all went smoothly. Any subsequent fine tuning details have been handled quickly and efficiently. They also let you know when to adjust to get the best value which is a great after sales touch.

My only regret is I wish I had spoken with them and done it sooner.

Competitive price, Installed on time, friendly and efficient service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Brilliant and quick installation, looks fantastic

Top quality service from paul and the people at RNB. No longer cooking on gas. Now cooking on sunlight

RNB were a pleasure to deal with.
Paul & Pratik were knowledgeable and on hand to answer questions before we committed to having Solar installed.
Once underway all the team were polite and friendly and standard of work was of the highest quality.
Very impressed and would highly recommend.

Anyone can convince you Solar is the way to go in this climate, costs differing sometimes greatly. However, I found Paul, Kirk and crew impressive, honest and reliable. Their rates are competitive without compromise. Follow-up is important to me, as adjustments may be required as systems collaborate. RNB are all over this and promptly returned calls with patience and integrity. I highly recommend this local team. There scaffolding team are very good as well.

A great Company to do business with, excellent prices and their workforce were all helpful and friendly, and a pleasure for use for the supply and installation of the new Solar system

I had my Sola installation in December 22
I’m extremely happy with the workmanship and professionalism, right from initial survey to completion. I was happy to let the guys have a key to come and go, when I was at work. Would highly recommend. Exceeded my expectations in terms of performance.

RNB have been fantastic from start to finish... Once the solar had been installed, they walked us through the entire system and have always been available to speak to with any silly questions we may have! 5* service from 5* People!

RNB fitted solar panels and a battery for us in Autumn 2022. Their staff were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable - happy to respond to any queries we had. With the battery and longer, sunnier days we are now running our home more or less solely on solar and are delighted by this - both environmentally and financially! Thanks all at RNB, would definitely recommend.

Paul carried out a survey and provided us with a quotation that was in line with others who looked at the work. We went with RNB because they seemed the most professional and gave us confidence that they knew what they were doing. There were some issues with getting the battery, but they kept us in the loop and gave us options to get things moving quicker.

The installation was carried out quickly and neatly and exceeded our expectations in terms of performance.

I would recommend RNB Solar to anyone.

I initially contacted RNB for a quotation for a new solar PV/Battery system. I received first class service from the design and quotation team who provided me a system that worked within my budget and also suited the size and type of property that the system was to be installed on.
The installation was carried out in an efficient manner by the install guys who were very friendly and tidied everything up at the end of each day.
The aftercare that I received from RNB was second to none with a return visit carried out without question to tweak a few settings to get everything working as required.
A great overall experience with RNB and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Paul and his team was first class, the work carried out was done in a professional, tidy manor, always turned up on time when it was agreed. The couple of teething issues were resolved very prompt and always on hand to answer any questions or concerns - we certainly would not hesitate to recommend for any solar or associated electrical works.
