I recently gave RO another chance

I recently gave RO another chance, during this time I indicated I would like a 2.5 mg wegovy tablet not the 1.5 mg I explained to them that I was previously on glp1 semaglutide and it worked well at 2.5 I spoke to several medical people and indicated that. Well sure enough they sent the 1.5 I have been using it and nothing I mean nothing the dosage is to low as we know oral verses injectable is always lower absorbtion. Nbasically I have waisted my money. and gone to another supplier whom listens to there patients. The staff don't listen at all.

Hi there. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. Medication dosing is determined by licensed providers based on clinical guidelines, safety, and individual patient factors and only based on prior use or preference.

We hear your concern about not feeling listened to, and that’s not the experience we aim to provide. If you’re open to it, we’d appreciate the opportunity to review your case and help clarify your treatment plan. We're sending you a request for more information.

Great customer service, read the fine print.

I read the fine print and I have no issues. All other health apps with weight loss that I looked into have the same exact model, membership fee plus actual meds cost. Some make you pay for 6+ months at a time! Ro was the most established and most popular. So I went with them.
I got my meds in two days and customer service has always been very responsive. Everything I needed to use my meds came in the package. My second month of meds I needed something changed after it was already being processed to ship, and within five minutes they held the shipment and made the change. Don’t know how many other health apps would be able to do that literally right before shipping. Saved me a lot of back and forth shipping and a headache.

Read the fine print about costs. Read what happens to your upfront money if you’re not approved. I do not use insurance. I’m already down ten pounds and feeling so much better.
I found one company that was a little cheaper for a knockoff compound med (I’m on a name brand) but Google said it wasn’t “legit”. I’ll stick with RO for this journey.

I paid for a 3 month prescription

I paid for a 3 month prescription. They only sent 2. When I contacted customer service, they treated me like a new patient directing me to fill out a new questionnaire and start over - despite the fact that they were prepared to charge me in a week for the ongoing subscription. So, I paid for medications I didn't get and now I'm out the cash, the meds, and I'm being treated like they have no record of me. TERRIBLE -

I just joined RO and the process was actually quick and somewhat easy. I was confused about pricing and the promotion of 100.00 off first month but they explained everything and in less than a day I was approved. My prescription is already being processed and shipped! I have a coach and a doctor to help me with my weight loss journey! So excited to see the end point of my journey! Thank you RO.

Ro and my weight loss journey

Ro has been a great partner in my weight loss journey. Any questions or concerns I’ve had have been answered in a timely matter. I love the discount they give for cash only medication. I know that I’m receiving the “real” Zepbound and not some off brand which means a lot to me! I had to take a break do to focusing on my husbands medical issues this past year but I’m back! Ro is supportive when you leave and come back. Thank you so much Ro!🫶🏻

Had to pay $45 just to apply

Had to pay $45 just to apply. After all the online questions were completed, they offered me compounded semi-glutide which I had already told them in the questionnaire did not work in the past for me.

Then they charge you $149 a month, PLUS you have to pay for whatever medication you want.

$45 wasted, spent this money for nothing in return. Buyer beware!

Hi there, we’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. The initial fee covers your medical consultation and provider review, including support with navigating insurance, and medication costs are separate. After that, the membership is $149/month, and full, transparent pricing details can be found anytime at ro.co/weight-loss/pricing/

Charged & Nothing done for 2 months

Worst experience after close to 2 months awaiting for details for coverage I canceled. I had no communication unless I reached out and there was no number had to message and wait a day for an answer. Pharmacy had told me authorization was needed more than once after messaging Ro support and just a run around. Was charged the first months fee for no real service. I canceled before the 2nd month fee. Worst communication and kept getting updates if I started my new dose. How? I didn't get it approved yet? Not friendly and would not recommend. Out $140 dollars no weight loss from this just stress and waste of time. If you want real care you are better of seeing a real doctor in person who will answer real concerns.

Ro is the Absolute Worst

Ro is the Absolute Worst
Just go to a doctor or find a different provider.
Ro will be very dishonest about the communication between you and your insurance. They need to get "Prior Authorization" forms constantly. The way they do it they send your prescription "early" so that if theres "been any change to the formulation of your GLP-1 they have enough time to figure that out." In that time they will tell you your insurance company will not cover you consistently from month to month because a certain amount of time needs to pass between each prescription. The pharmacy will see your prescription on file, get tired of you not picking it up and put it back to stock. Then Ro will tell you they need another "Pre Authorization Form" to be able for the pharmacy to fill it again. I had Ro for 4 months and only got one prescription. This company is a joke

Dishonestly priced

Dishonestly priced. I was told by the website I could pay for 12 months all at once, but it turns out there is an additional monthly fee that they sneak in, while making it look like it's included in the up-front cost. I thought it was $145/mon x12 months +discount for paying all at once = $1400, but really $1400 is just the cost of the meds + $145 additional per month. Also, why say I can pay it all up front if I have to pay monthly anyways? I know why now, it's so they can dishonestly pretend your "total" is $1400, while billing you more each month. I'm fine paying $3000 for the meds, but it should say TOTAL: $3000 when I go to check out. Anything else is false advertising.

Hi there. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand the confusion. The upfront cost you’re referring to applies to the medication, while the monthly membership fee is separate and supports ongoing clinical care.

We aim to be transparent about this pricing structure, including what’s included and billed separately, and appreciate your feedback on how this is communicated. If you’re open to it, we’d be happy to review your experience and provide further clarity.
