Bought a pair of lovely mid-century dining chairs - items exactly as described and as in photos. Fantastic communication from Tim and very quick delivery. Brilliant experience and a pleasure to do business with, would highly recommend.

The service at Roberts and Astley is excellent, Timothy was very communicative during the whole purchasing process and the delivery process was smooth and efficient. I couldn't be happier with the table I purchased, it was in perfect condition, packaged extremely well and looked exactly like in the photos. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I'm sure I'll be ordering again soon!

Roberts and Astley were a pleasure to deal with. We sourced the perfect piece for our bedroom, explained to them the budget we were working under and worked to find the price that suited us both. From then onwards they kicked into gear and the delivery was a breeze, great communication throughout and a great personal touch to all dealings. I would buy from them again and would urge others to check their website and drop them a note if there’s anything that catches the eye (I’m sure there’s lots)

I recently ordered some mid-century G Plan dining chairs. Timothy did a video chat with me to show them to me in closer detail before buying. He also sent photos showing the very thorough packaging before they were transported to me in London. They arrived a few days later in perfect condition. I appreciate the care and attention to detail involved in this purchase. Roberts & Astley have a great deal of passion for mid-century furniture, and I would happily buy from them again.

I wished I could give 6 stars to Roberts & Astley as I had the most wonderful shopping experience. Not only that the photo conveyed exactly the beauty of the Japanese fire screen which I have bought, the whole process of shopping online was made fantastically easy by Timothy who kept me well informed about each step of the transaction. The delivery went very smoothly too and I even got a call before I was able to unwrap the carefully packaged piece to check whether I was happy with everything. I wished online shopping for antiques would be always such an enjoyable experience.

Timothy made finding the perfect mid century sideboard easy. Great communication from my first enquiry email through to the delivery. The sideboard is restored to a high and professional standard and was delivery as nearly as fast as amazon prime better packaging. Would highly recommend. Thanks again.
