I sought to amend and ended up cancelling
I sought to change my insurance from Europe to Rest of World ex USA etc - told cost of doing this was going to be £600+! This due to me making a claim, that I haven't done, was transferred to the claims department who confirmed there had been no claim, returned to the original department where was told that regardless the £600+ extra cost (I'd already paid £181 for an annual policy) had to be applied - so told them to cancel the policy immediately and I should be getting about £30 sent back to me - strange you think I've bought a policy - really disapointing and incompetent

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you are unhappy with us and for the confusion/misinformation with the alleged claim.
The agents note does state that the system shows a claim, I am unsure as to where they see this as there isn't anything regarding a claim on your file. Please be assured that feedback will be passed to the agents manager.
Regardless of this, claiming doesn't have an impact on the price of future policies, the price you were given was the price to upgrade to a worldwide policy, excluding USA etc. We just have to ask if there have been any claims made, pending or intended as we are unable to change a policy if there is a claim on it.
I can confirm that your refund is on its way to you and the policy cancelled. My sincere apologies for the frustration this has caused.

Policy expired 4 jan called 8th jan no cannot use old medical info you have go through the whole process.
15% discount offered did not apply to my travel insurance because I was declaring medical conditions .
I have since been contacted and a discount applied. I am pleased to report rock have shown themselves receptive to the feedback I gave.

Easy to do
It was easy enough to navigate doing it online, although there was one thing I wasn’t sure about so I did a live chat and they didn’t know either. I erred on the side of caution but ultimately it cost a lot more money than I needed to pay.

Not great customer support
Phoned to cancel my travel insurance as it was more than double what I had paid the previous year. The person I spoke to said yes I understand before he had even asked me anything. I was not even asked why I wanted to cancel and if there was anything they could do.
