I love my OffCourse

I love my OffCourse! When we bring it to larger, public lakes, spectators are always intrigued. The OffCourse saves me from having to make a 2-hour drive each way to my nearest course. It’s a great practice tool for reminding me of the turn buoy pace!

Off Course Fun

Have used the Off Course the last 2 summers at Lake of the Ozarks. Primary home is in Orlando with a slalom course in my backyard. When I get back from the Ozarks it like I have been skiing the course all summer. Most fun ever!

The product quality is top-notch!

The product quality is top-notch and most of all, it is really fun! The OffCourse can be used even when the water is pretty rough. You can easily see the splashes and the urgency to turn and go is really there. It is a LOT more like skiing a slalom course than I thought it would be. I can't say enough how incredibly impressed I am with the quality of this device and how it is impacting my slalom skiing. Even if I had access to a slalom course all the time, I think I would want to spend some time in open water taking out the OffCourse. It is that much fun!

Have had the Offcourse out twice now…

Have had the Offcourse out twice now and REALLY enjoy it! Many of the reviews I’ve read focus on how it compares to a regulation course.

My comments are from a different perspective. I like to ski buoys when possible and can make a 32/15 pass, but to me, it’s all about spending 4-5 hours on the water with friends/family. I can drive an hour to go ski the private course and pay $70 for a 15-minute session, but, that’s such a limited portion of the whole experience that boating/skiing offers. The Offcourse offers the ability to “check both boxes”, and ski some buoys while enjoying any lake.

The A/B/C modes of the Off-course are genius and m my kids are immediately hooked on graduating from B to A. Now much easier to recruit a driver and spotter 😊

Had a friend and his high school son out, and his son is fairly new to slalom and was absolutely thrilled to bag a C-mode pass.

Meanwhile, I’m right where I’ve been at 32/15 whenever I get a chance on a regulation course every couple of years, but, now have the opportunity to focus on improving and making more of the occasional course access.

So, in my view, a homerun all the way around!

Off Course is a game changer

Off Course is a game changer. We live on a busy public lake that has a slalom course. We only can ski course early am as ski cove gets busy with lake lice (jet ski, tubers, etc) after 9am. With off course we can ski anytime and any where! It is a great supplement. Erik is super responsive. Customer service is top notch. Great for beginners as the B and C settings allow new course skiers more time to make turns and progress. Fast set up! More ski time! Ski Ya Later.

It's a pretty neat system!

I purchased the OffCourse this past summer. Erik was quick to respond to my questions prior to and after the purchase. I received the unit within a week of the purchase, quicker than I expected. After initial setup noticed one of the markers had a slow CO2 leak, reached out to Erik who quickly helped me diagnose the issue and sent me a new marker without hesitation. Since receiving the new marker, we have had a blast with this system on the Pittsburgh river system, a fresh change and new challenge to our normal free ski routine. The balls are very easy to see when they hit the surface of the water, Erik has done a great job masterfully designing this unique system. Like any ski boat, weight distribution is critical to wake performance behind the boat. No different with this system, keeping the boat or markers as level as possible to ensure the balls are hitting equal distance on either side of the hull. There are adjustments to either marker if you need to slightly raise or lower the ball approach angle, but if for example you change out drivers and their weight is different, it can throw the system off slightly which is a bit frustrating. If Erik and team and can discover a gyro like cost effective option to ensure the markers always stay level and eliminate the detail of weight distribution (even while the boat is under power) then this would be a 5/5 system. But until then, if you at your mates have a few extra dollars, go in together on this purchase, its certain to put a smile on everyone's face and if you're like us who always free ski, we can now share the feeling of having our own private ski course wherever we want!

Just wanted to give some input from Sweden on OffCourse

Just wanted to give some input from Sweden since my wife and I now have skied with OffCourse (OC in the rest of the text) mounted on our Malibu Response 340hp from 2005 equipped with PP Stargazer and Z-box. We have the boat based in the Stockholm archipelago with no possiblity to put in a course at our location close to our house. When I first heard of OC a couple of years ago I immediately thought that it would be perfect for archipelago course like skiing after our own boat instead of only doing free skiing. We are both fixed buoy course skiers also and members of a club with a course on a lake. My wife skies into 32mph and I ski into 32off at 34mph (soon old enough for 32mph though..). I have to say that OC lived up to all my high expectations. The best things are actually the new Z-magazines that holds 24 balls each, matching the life of the CO2 cartridge so you reload everyting at the same time. The Z magazines allows you to do 48 turns in a row if you have the space and the stamina, absolutely wonderful! You do need to get the course width right and you do need to learn how to time the start with the boat crew so you get the zero ball were you want it, but that is easily solved after a couple of tries. I really think that this is a great training aid if you don't have access to a normal course where you ski, well done Erik Berghiller!!!

Game changer

This is a great product that will improve my skiing! I don’t always have access to a course so OffCourse will be a great tool. The build quality is top notch and customer service from Erik and the team is excellent. Well done.

perfect solution if you have no buoys course!

Nice designed and produced product. Looks like it could work for a lifetime. This is highly appreciated in a world of cheap made plastic products.

Application: meanwhile we do the complete setup in under two minutes. Noise level is ok, the “shot” sounds like a service in a tennisgame… and outside of the boat it disappears behind the sound of engine and water.
The vertical distance between the “buoys” seems to be very accurate. In points of horizontal distance, the off-course reacts sensible to changes in the “vertical” weight distribution of the boat. You have to find your strategies to keep your boat in the level you had, when you did the calibration. I also would recommend to choose a program (speed, line-length) you “nearly” can manage. If you are far too late on the “buoy”, it might have an effect to the weight distribution of the boat in the moment the next shot is done. If the skier is about on time, the shot is done when he is behind the boat and the boat is balanced.

Resume: perfect tool for those people, that can go in a buoys course only once in a while and spend most time in free skiing. The off-course does not replace a buoys course, but it gives you an orientation, puts you under “pressure” and activates your ambition to improve your skiing. And yes, that’s much more fun than “only” freeskiing.

OffCourse

The OffCourse has been great for us. It does not replace a bouy course, but it allows us to ski areas of the lake when our course area is rough. The OffCourse is accurate and also adjustable for beginners to learn to run the slalom course. It is a well built product that I recommend to my friends.

Genius Slalom Solution

A wonderful solution for those who have no access to a real boey course. It is a good solution to train constant rhythm and width for slalom. Initial fears about safety turned out to be completely unfounded.

The whole device is precisely machined, easy to set-up and to operate. Waterski fans infected with the engineers virus will love it.

The device works as well on a river if the current is not too high. Calculated timing deviations up to 1,2 km/h are less than 2%. A river-mode correction similar to the Zero-Off would be the next big step…

Rodics Innovation OffCourse product is… Truly REVOLUTIONARY!

Rodics Innovation OffCourse product is a revolutionary product paired with an elegent design and robust build. Beyond that, the functionality is outstanding and the customer service is superb.
The bottom line; OffCourse has already improved my skiing and has also increased my motivation and enjoyment of the sport. I highly recommend for any open water / recreational skier in the 15 off to 35 off range at any boat speed. Beyond that, a true tournament skier would likely be more at home on a fixed course.

the off course is amazing

the off course is amazing! We ski a river and setting up a portable course doesn't work because of the current. we are able to travel to where the wind and boat traffic are good for skiing and deploy the course with the push of a button.

This has been an AMAZING product

This has been an AMAZING product. It works as advertised and allows me to "run the course" wherever the good water is. Only thing I would change is using high pressure air to power the markers as the CO2 only last about 25 shots and ability to load more balls for each session.
