I engaged Rodi to rebuild my website…

I engaged Rodi to rebuild my company website in WordPress. I paid him a $500 deposit on 12 June 2025 with the clear expectation that the site would be ready by 1 July 2025. Despite sending all the required information promptly, I received almost no communication and no completed work within the agreed timeframe.

After nearly two months of waiting, I cancelled the project on 6 August 2025 and engaged another designer. Rodi later tried to claim he didn’t receive my emails, but that is not an acceptable excuse for such long delays and lack of accountability. He has refused to refund my deposit, even though no usable website was delivered.

In my experience, Rodi is unreliable and unprofessional. Be very cautious before engaging him — promises were made but not delivered, and I was left out of pocket with nothing to show for it.
