Never again.
We are all very disappointed in Rohrmax and would not, under any circumstances recommend this company. At every level, from the administration to the service worker, we experienced incompetence.
We (3 families) received invitations from Rohrmax to clean the internal sewage network for our building, a 3-family townhouse.
Right from the start there were problems. When we called Rohrmax and were ready to make an appointment, nobody at Rohmax knew anything about the invitations they had sent to us. It took many phone calls to finally get a service representative to come over, look at the 3 houses and make each of us individual offers.
The service monteur came over and was shocked to find out that his work would entail 3 not 1 townhouses. As a result he should have had another man to help him do the work, which he didn’t. The last part of the service, flushing out the house system into the external city system, he was unable to finish because he couldn’t open the manhole in our cellar. Without this final flush, the entire work is incomplete. Rohrmax refused to take responsibility to open this manhole and suggested we get an external company to do it, possibly costing around Sfr. 2’000..
They claimed the manhole was impossible to open. What they never admitted was that their service monteur was exhausted, had cleaned 3 systems instead of 1 and wanted to just finish the job. No one from Rohrmax really gave any effort to help solve this problem and insisted it was entirely OUR problem.
In the end and without the help of Rohrmax, we opened the manhole ourselves. Actually it was quite simple! It just took a gummy Hammer and a 12’er Schraubschlüssel.
