Fast service (even currently), very reasonable price for replacement parts for their machine. The Presso/Rok machine is a very nice way to made very good quality espresso (provided you have good coffee beans and a grinder which grinds fine enough). I have had to replace a few parts, but my machine is quite old.

Delivery of the converter kit was really fast...even faster than originally promised.
Kudos to ROK for offering the conversion kit as a retrofit to the original design...very eco, very considerate, very appreciated.

I received a rok espresso machine a few years ago as a wedding gift and loved everything about it except the tiny plastic tamper. I checked out the website and found that rok not only has a beautiful tamper they have upgraded the espresso machine AND have a conversion kit! I love that they stand by their product enough to offer a conversion kit instead of pushing a whole new piece.

my spouse was dead set on the rok grinder after conducting some extensive research, and, after learning of the price of other comparable grinders on the market, i, too, felt like this would be a great investment. while, of course, there are far more affordable items you could purchase that serve the function of grinding whole coffee beans, i truly believe this is something we’ll keep with us for years to come.

first, the amount of coffee we had been wasting using an electric grinder was a tragedy. we threw out unusable, fine powder that couldn’t be brewed and went through bags of whole bean like water. the rok grinder has proven to be highly consistent in its grind with essentially zero wasted product other than what clings to the machine from static. nearly every morning the electric grinder had to be used, i would wake up due to its incredible noise. the rok grinder is insanely quiet and hasn’t woken me up a single time - i don’t think it will, ever.

that said, the shipping from england to nevada was unexpectedly quick which was a pleasant surprise. it arrived within around a week or so and my spouse excitedly went to play around with the new toy.

the grind adjustment wheel immediately seized and, despite the desperate attempts at getting it to function again, my spouse or i simply could not figure out what was wrong or how to fix it. we lamented the issue for some time before i decided to email the rok team, who quickly responded with a highly detailed instructional pictorial that allowed my spouse to troubleshoot and get the grind adjustment wheel working again. i was so pleased with how cordial and to-the-point the customer service was. no hassle, no unneeded questioning - just an answer.

the only downside to this product is it seems the new design has left off any sort of numbering system on the grind adjustment wheel in lieu of tactile clicks that indicate when you’ve made the grind finer. there aren’t any clicks when you coarsen the grind. the clicks are appreciated from an interfacing perspective but don’t necessarily help in determining your grind size. the lack of numbers on the wheel (ie. 1-24 on each of the grind settings, 1 being coarsest, 24 being finest) makes it difficult to determine where you are in terms of coarseness. there is no indicator of either extreme setting, so this seems to be something that you have to either add yourself or pick up on your own and intuit through continued use and trial and error.

I am having fun with the ROK. I am hoping to use it in my beverage sales as a show tool and a working piece of art.

The crema plus basket does not fit as tightly inside the Portafilter cup as the standard Portafilter basket,.... that can't work well.

We’ll Rok Coffee, Unfortunately I am here to write disappointed review.
Ive had my press /rok since 2014 its a super machine , I have had one replacement fit from the cylinder and 0-ring some years ago , this was great.

BUT this time when I went order a new o ring I saw. That an upgrade was available , so I watched a few videos and went for the upgrade instead of only buying a new o- ring.

To cut a long story short it builds up no pressure at all.

Less than my 3 year old last up grade that had a broken 0-ring

Perhaps I have installed it incorrectly but this is unlikely as I am a pretty careful person.

So what to do? Normally I would try make telephone contact with someone. But as this review request came before the coffee upgrade I though I would just sit down and use it.

So ROK please help me turn this frown upside down and make the one star 5

By advising me on how to get a my coffee machine update to work

My order was warranty related. Everything worked out as promised regarding the ten year warranty, and I got a new part for free so that I was able to replace the broken part on my ROK Espresso Maker.

ROK provided exactly what I hoped for in a very timely manner. ordering from the U.S. I wasn’t expecting the quick and unbelievably reasonably priced shipping. Wow!

Better yet, my old Rok is now like brand new and pulls the best espresso shots ever! Thank you!
