Winning bets unfairly refunded – very disappointing experience
I had a very frustrating experience with Roman Casino.
Yesterday, I placed three different bets on the same volleyball match. All of them were fully valid and accepted at normal odds without any issue. There was nothing unusual about the market or the prices offered.
Once the match finished, all three of my bets were clearly winning bets. However, instead of settling them as wins, Roman Casino marked them as “push” and refunded the stake. This makes absolutely no sense, as the outcomes were correctly determined and there was no voided market or cancelled event.
I immediately contacted their live chat support, and they told me to send an email. I did so, explaining the situation clearly. The only response I received was a vague reference to “technical issues” — with no detailed explanation, no justification, and no transparency.
It is extremely concerning that winning bets can simply be reclassified as pushes after the event is over, especially without any proper explanation. This completely undermines trust in the platform.
I strongly advise other users to be cautious. If a bookmaker can cancel legitimate winning bets citing unspecified “technical problems,” it raises serious concerns about fairness and reliability.
Very disappointing experience.
