Buyer Beware

Placed an order and payment was taken on 16 Aug Since payment has been taken no good have been received and no contact has been achieved despite daily emails and chat!
Please do not disregard this review and read all the other true reviews. This company only challenge reviews in order to continue taking peoples money.
I cannot believe the 5 star reviews are actually True, we have had to validate this review with evidence - have they been checked?

Great prices, but poor customer service

First of all, the items I ordered - all hardware for a new PC build - arrived a few days later than they should have. But the real issue was when I completed the build and it failed to post to the monitor. I reached out to a number of parties, including the manufacturers of the motherboard and RAM, as well as Ron's Electronics. Everyone was very helpful except for Ron's Electronics, who completely failed to respond to any of the three emails I sent to them. Ultimately, I managed to get the new PC working, but this is no thanks to Ron's Electronics. Their prices are very good, but their customer service is not.

Product never arrived

Product hasn’t arrived over a week past expected delivery. Absolutely no tracking info and no reply from customer service and no refund so far. Absolutely rubbish do not use this website.

very quick delivery on an i9 12900k

very quick delivery on an i9 12900k. brand new sealed, works perfectly. at the time of purchase it was about £85 cheaper than amazon as well as everyone else. will always check them out again to see how their prices compared when i next need something.

Update:
My original rating still stands for that order. However I've since attempted to buy a gpu from them that seemed to be in stock. The problem was they couldn't accept payment from the same card I had used before. So I had to shop else where.

Horrible Experience

THIS COMPANY HAS KEPT MY MONEY WITHOUT SHIPPING MY ORDER!!! In June I ordered a new NVIDIA 3080 GPU to replace a 2080TI with a failing coolant pump. The timing wasn't the greatest as the price crashes were only starting, but I needed the replacement. Rons sent me the wrong GPU, not only did they send a 10GB version instead of the 12GB I ordered, but it was a completely different brand. Communication with customer service started out good, with regular updates. However, they would not send the replacement GPU until receiving the original... this meant a 3-4 week delay because of a planned holiday. After we returned, I shipped back the original GPU... but the post office returned it to sender. I had to ship it again and I notified customer service. This is where it started to go bad... I received no updates from customer service, despite 4 attempts during the ENTIRE MONTH OF AUGUST. I have now paid 800 for a GPU (which incidentally is now worth about 200-300 less than the day I bought it)... not to mention the fact that it's not in my possession nor have I ever used it! I could not even tell you where it is right now... I guess I just gave Ron an interest free loan?!?? I have tried emails, website contact forms, and now TrustPilot... everything short of picking up the phone and am getting NO UPDATES.

Excellent price just a nervous wait!

I had seen some bad reviews and was really worried I had been scammed but actually received the processor I had ordered for an excellent price. The delivery tracking was pretty poor but it arrived fairly quickly in yards of bubble wrap!

Somewhat risky, but worth it.

Had some reservations after reading reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Although the delivery tracking was non existant the item arrived within a few working days of my order at a cheaper price than any other retailer I checked.

It seems this company poses as a third party enterprise, taking orders for other retailers as my package arrived from SCAN with a SCAN receipt, I have a feeling this is why the delivery info is lacking.

No contact after order

Ordered items, received an email stating that the order is on the way and then nothing, no tracking information has been provided. The delivery estimate window has passed, I've emailed the company three times and haven't had a response. They claim to respond to emails within 24-48hrs but this doesn't seem to be true.

Now I need to contact my bank and trading standards.

Buy elsewhere, the extra money is worth it, you'll save a lot of hassle.

Sceptical at first because of lowest…

Sceptical at first because of lowest prices around, put my mind at easy 2days later when my new genuine sealed CPU arrived well packed.

Ron's electronics is now my go to pc parts supplier.

Horific service

Absolutely shambolic customer service.. I had placed an order on the Saturday and it didn't get processed till the following Tuesday. I then get an email saying it has been despatched and to "Track my parcel" to which the link just sent me to my order details on the website where there was no way to track anything so I emailed looking for tracking details (tracking no. And courier) and no one replied to me at all till the delivery was being attempted by DPD and they actually sent me a text before I got a reply from the company.. Then later that day I get rang by the DPD driver as they haven't even put an address on the posting!! Just my name, town and postcode! You were the cheapest provider for this monitor for a bloody reason.. avoid this company!

Dreadful!

The worst service I have ever received purchasing online.
No dispatch message, no tracking, no communication at all - just took my money and the item never arrived.
Five emails sent, only received a reply to the first which said my item would be delivered by DPD on 25th August. It wasn't, and no reply to my other messages asking (politely) where the item was.
It's now over two weeks late and still no reply from ronselectronics and no idea if the item has even been dispatched. For expensive computing items this is a very shoddy service, and I'm surprised they get away with it. The same item I bought is now cheaper on Amazon, and I wish I'd waited and bought from them instead for the reliability and peace of mind. It has been such a stressful experience dealing with ronselectronics, I really can not recommend them to anyone wanting a safe, stress-free purchase. As for the cheap prices and bargains, well they aren't such a bargain if our purchases never arrive! As others have said, 'if it seems too good to be true, it probably is'. Requested a cancellation and taking it up with my bank for a refund.
EDITED TO ADD - *Twice* Ronselectronics has tried to get my review taken down. Check out Ron's history of getting negative reviews removed from Trust Pilot - they are very good at it.
RonsElectronics flagged 54 of their negative reviews a total of 54 times.

Anyone who doesn't resond when messaged that "RonsElectronics needs more info" has their negative review taken down by Trust Pilot.
