Needed some felt installed in my roof (as advised by insurance roofers), insurance wouldn't cover the cost, so I had to do it myself.
When they were on the roof, they claimed a lot of damage to the rafters and slates, it was raining; I had no choice but to pay for the extra repairs.
Left a lot of rubble in my attic, with some damage, told them to remove it, they instead tried to sell me on fixing the firewall (which wasn't urgent), when they came to clean out the rubble, they immediately started working on the firewall (raking out the old cement), rather than cleaning out the rubble and overcharged me (I confirmed this after asking for similar quotes for the job with other traders in the area).
After confronting them about it, they were very dismissive and gave a bogus breakdown of the cost that included materials and labour not agreed to (I had to argue with them for a while to get the breakdown) and started threatening the guarantee they offered
I would avoid them and seek another company. I've found better tradesmen on CheckATrade
Got recommended to them by a neighbour who was very happy with them, but unfortunately, that was not my experience.
