The ad is great but it's a total scam. Clothes ship from China and are very poor quality. I was told to return them I'd have to pay customs fees as well which I looked up and could be anywhere between 30-54% of items cost Don't waste your money,

Don’t waste your money. Most fabrics are cheap polyester and the garments are ill-fitting (large-sized sweater has neck so small it does not go over my head) and shoddy.
My credit card was charged in China.
They don’t have a phone number (that should have been a clue) so I emailed them to request return and refund instructions. To get a refund requires shipping to China and paying customs fees, though the package was shipped (a month after ordering) from an address within the United States.
A total rip-off.

Rose and Dora NOT a Boston Company- its CHINESE. Shoddy merchandise and expensive returns.

Where to begin. First of all, the 2 dresses I ordered were not the cotton blend dresses I saw in the advertised pictures, they are polyester blend with the print stamped on the dresses! They look more like pajamas than a sundress! Then to find out that they come from China, which took 3 weeks to get! So their 30 day return policy gives you very little time to return, not to mention the hassle and cost to return to China! I received my dresses the day after I went on a 2 1/2 week vacation, so I literally had no chance of returning with in 30 days! I thought the dresses were coming from Boston, Rose and Dora of Boston, silly me!! I never would have ordered knowing that. Then there is the customer service, only done by email at their convenience, no phone number to call, at all!! Customer service is great when ordering, but really falls off when you indicate you want to return the product! Also, when I said that I wanted to return the dresses, after a few back and forth of why I wanted to return, was when I found out the dresses were shipped from China! A lot of empty apologies! Then there is the partial refund, which they want you to settle with, starting at 10% refund, the 15%, and then I finally settled with 20% to just be done! I barely got any communication from email except for in the morning at the end, even though they state customer service hours from 9-5. Again, customer service at their convenience!! I hope I can save one or more customers from the terrible ordeal I went through with Rose and Dora of Boston. Which is why I’ve taken this extra time to write this review!! FYI, I settled for 20% return of $87.31 cost just to be done with them!! Returning them to China could have cost $60 to return internationally!!

Horrible! The "sweater" purchased was not, in fact, a sweater. It was a printed tee shirt. When I inquired about their return address/policy, they ghosted me. Their website is a fraudulent site. Shipping was MONTHS long. AVOID!!

Before purchasing I looked up this company to see if it had a bricks and mortar location hoping that would provide a safe and positive purchase experience. What happened was like my recent clothing purchases of late. Terrible quality products, both in fabric and fit, and a shameful return policy. You have to mail the products back to China at your own expense and if you chose not to, the begin by saying how very sorry they are for your troubles and offer a 10% refund and you can keep the goods. When you respond that this is unacceptable they raise the amount to 15% and no more. I recommend others DO NOT buy from this company. SHAMEFUL!!!

DO NOT ORDER. clothing is cheap (all polyester) and oversized. When I reached out to return, I was offered a chance to receive 15% of purchase price back (and keep the items I did NOT want) or send back to China at my own expense.
Save yourself the same nightmare.

Worst site ever. The products are not as represented and when you ask for a refund you have to sent it back to China even though they represent that their address is in the US. In short, don’t ever order from Rose & Dora.

Misleading advertising. Poor quality garments from a factory in China. Unable to contact customer service for refund or exchange information. Do not buy from them. Horrible..

I ordered 3 dresses. All were to be of airy, breathable material. Thought they would be perfect for my trip to Italy. When they finally arrived (3 weeks later from China), I was greatly disappointed. They were all made of polyester. And one of them was the wrong item - a blouse instead of a dress. I contacted the company and long story short - they offered me 20% of my total as a refund and I can keep the junk. Shipping back to China would cost a lot and probably not arrive in time for their 30 day return window. Nowhere on their website is it shown that the items are from China - Boston is shown on the website home page - and I'm sure the two women on the home page are not Rose and Dora. Save your money - don't order from this company.

Ordered for the first time and was not disappointed. Quality exceeded my expectations. A trustworthy shop!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Great product, fast shipping, and well packed. No complaints at all!

I wish there was a negative star review. OK now we’re in the back-and-forth game of being offered a minor discount. If I keep the products I don’t want. Still haven’t received the address for shipping the return… and if it’s a return to China, then this is all lost money… lesson learned again… check where the product is originating from! Often it’s hard to tell unless you do some real digging. Thanks trust pilot I should’ve checked you first.

What a complete scam! They promise a “100% refund,” but fail to mention that you have to ship returns all the way to China. They claim to be a U.S. company based in Boston, but that’s clearly not true when it comes to returns. The quality is terrible—items described as breathable were actually 100% cheap polyester, and the products don’t even resemble the website images. This entire experience has been a disaster. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
