Unreliable platform

Rotacloud went down twice when I tried to use payroll - in November and December 2025

A member of staff had to come in over the Christmas break to run payroll in December

No apology. Simply a brusque 'apps sometimes don't work'

We have now had an ongoing month's long problem with rotacloud terminal. Apparently they don't know why it isn't working for some users.

No fix in sight!

Am here to give my review, am very much angry about your organisation because it came to my attention that my clocking in location are false and am going through disciplinary because of this. Am truly angry about this experience with your company.

We’ve been using RotaCloud for several years now. Unfortunately, while the system itself has potential, the ongoing issues with their clocking in/out terminal have become a serious concern. For months, staff have been unable to consistently clock in or out, leading to a significant increase in manual admin work.

What’s even more frustrating is the lack of effective customer support — responses are slow, unhelpful, and the issue remains unresolved. It’s disappointing to see such poor service from a company we’ve relied on for so long.

Absolutely useless in a rural location. Multiple employees saying they can't sign in/out without 4/5g connection. App loses location connection every day. As usual there has been no integration testing

Very easy to use. Good reports.
Only one I'd add which would be useful, when employees leave early, as useful as the clocking in late one.

Easy to use, simple and accessible for staff to see their shift patterns, helpful reports can be produced, a great all round system that new users producing rotas have found straight forward to learn.

Very easy to use, scheduling is easy with lots of time saving tricks. The clocking in and out and recording staff break is working very well.
Keeps all in order and helps with staff attendance performance, reporting and more.

I have been a user of this platform for many years! It does what it says on the tin! A great platform for our office team and care and support workers, easy to use and makes life so much easier!

Great experience and very good service. Progress every time

We have used RotaCloud for a number of years. They are always very responsive with their help service and always help you sort your problem. The system is very simple to use, set up and navigate. The users all like the new interface and the month view is especially helpful. We have intergration into the system from People HR and it works very well.

Rota Cloud does the job!

I've used Rota Cloud to manage a team with multiple shift patterns, visible to all in a very accessible way.

Its pretty simple to create the shift rotations and publish them to the team.

One thing I HAVE to applaud Rota Cloud for is it chat function. The team who support this part of the business are all absolutely fantastic and give good, accurate, swift guidance. Thank you!

Rotacloud has been fantastic since the day we made the switch. Customer service is brilliant and the staff are always willing to help. They have made my life so much easier when it comes to rotas, annual leave, availability and payroll. Since the day we moved over we have not looked back. What a great company and service. The best thing about rotacloud is how much they care and want to change and review the product to make things easier. You give feedback and they listen! Thank you!

I've been using RotaCloud for nearly 10 years.

The user interface is intuitive, the reporting features are excellent, and it's easy to train others on how to use it.

On the rare occasions I've needed support, it has been great. I've also recommended RotaCloud to some friends for their businesses too.

Recently implemented this with our staff, after a very detailed and supportive learning time with the Rotacloud team, especially Lucy. Obviously time is needed upfront to upload all the necessary staff details. Once this was done and I had confidently understood the system I launched it on the staff…..and they LOVE IT!! They all agree it is helpful and makes life much easier to check in shifts and hours worked and keep a close track of annual leave. The cost is certainly value for money. I certainly recommend it highly.

Intuitive site, easy to use with very responsive helpful team should you need help.

We've been with Rotacloud for many years, and it quickly became absolutely integral to our small business. Not only are the staff friendly, responsive and helpful, but I genuinely feel like our requests for improvements to the app / interface (we've made a few!) are listened to. They're constantly striving to adapt and improve the usability of their product, which makes my life infinitely easier. Highly recommended to any small businesses with multiple clients!

Does not record annual leave correctly. Customer service not very helpful.
