It was a pleasure to deal with Lauren, sorting out a Lasting Power of Attourney. All completed in a timely manner. Thanks to Lauren and Stirling.

I dealt with Shanthi with regard to my late wife’s estate. She was very professional & had good communication skills, which really helped at such a stressful time. The whole process was quicker & easier than I expected. I highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Rebecca Ellerbeck for a redundancy case, and I didn't regret the choice. Rebecca is a competent and professional solicitor whom I would recommend to anyone in need of legal advice for employment issues.

Completion day was almost a disaster!
Everything went smoothly from the start until the day of completion.
There was a delay, which I believe Rowberrys were responsible for, regarding releasing the funds to my sellers. Which almost caused me to be in breach of contract and incur a penalty.
As a result of the delay, my sellers solicitors would not release the keys to the property. This then created further issues with my removal company, due to the delay.
I subsequently found out that the staff at Rowberrys, Crowthorne, had left the office to attend their Christmas do. Therefore, leaving the office and phones unattended. And clearly oblivious to the fact that they had not released the money to my seller before leaving the office for their Christmas lunch.
After leaving the person dealing with my property sale a voicemail, the money was finally released. Just avoiding a breach of contract situation by 15 mins.
Completion day is always very stressfuI. But this has to be the worst completion I have ever experienced during my time selling property's over the years. I didn't even receive an apology from Rowberrys for the error. Very unprofessional!

The service was very professional and they kept me informed as to the progress at all times. They also were very good at explaining the various legal aspects which could have been very confusing to many people. I would like to thank Stirling and Lauren who dealt with my case which was made more difficult by the solicitors that they had to deal with who were often very slow but it was always reassuring to here from Stirling at regular intervals with updates..

Shajeela at Rowberry's acted as my solicitor following a last minute change of plans, when the prospective buyer of our flat let us down shortly before contract exchange. It was a very stressful situation with only a few weeks until completion.

Shajeela handled the whole process perfectly. She was resilient in handling communication with a very difficult management company and was reliable throughout the whole process.

I was extremely happy with the quality of the service provided and I am planning to use Rowberry's again when I buy or sell a property in the future.

The Rowberrys team handled the sale of my property and purchase of a new property. As they were a local firm, I felt this was the best option and from the beginning to the end of the process they were extremely welcoming and helpful. I was in the unfortunate position of my office practicing some very legally grey tactics to release me. I was very lucky to have chosen Rowberrys to represent me. Most solicitors i spoke to just said to accept the settlement rowberrys went the extra mile to listen to my plight, understand the underhand tactics my employer was using and used that to more than double the settlement agreement. Rebecca and Francesca were amazing throughout and made a very difficult time a lot easier. Don't hesitate to use them.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Stirling, Lauren and team and I cannot recommend them enough. I would like to thank them for the excellent work they put in selling my flat. They were friendly, efficient and replied to my e-mails the same day or following day without fail. I would like to thank them wholeheartedly for their help in securing my sale.

Used for conveyancing which was dealt with without a problem. Unfortunately, they broke confidentiality and divulged personal information in contravention of contract, GDPR and SRA policies. This information could have caused great harm, fortunately the 'only' damage was emotional and mental. They accepted their mistake and apologised, but dealt with complaint unprofessionally until ombudsman was involved. I have since received a small amount of financial compensation, via the Financial Ombudsman. They are currently being investigated by the SRA regards this issue.
The conveyancer I dealt with was rude, misogynistic and uses foul language without apology. When I mentioned this I was told, "Oh, he's like that with everyone. It's not personal" In my opinion, completely unprofessional. My recommendation is that you find another solicitor/conveyancer.
UPDATE - in response to Rowberrys reply for clarity.
I did not immediately contact the Ombudsman and gave plenty of time for the company to respond. I was indeed offered an incredibly small amount of financial compensation (the amount I agreed after consultation with the legal body was FOUR times that amount).
I did receive an apology, that is correct. I was also told that nothing could be done to change what had happened, so what did I expect. I was also told that they 'thought the divorce was amicable' as a reason that the mistake was made. As a sole client one should be able to expect total confidentiality regardless of relationship.
I was asked to explain on three occasions the emotional, traumatic effects of the error and the loss of privacy - which added to my distress. The lack of understanding of the effects of this disclosure was mind-blowing. The problem was not resolved as the damage had already been done, my new address had been disclosed without my permission.
The allegations against the conveyancer may have been denied; that does not make them false.
Finally, the reason the matter was raised after completion, was due to the timing of completion of sale (very quickly after the wrongful disclosure) and the fact that I was moving house during an incredibly traumatic life experience, made worse by the actions of Rowberrys.
To somehow make out that I have been unreasonable, says it all about the company.

Over the last 12 months I've had to use 3 different solicitors for house sales and can say that Rowberrys by a mile were the best. From the first point of contact to completion day Lauren & Stirling have been extremely efficient and constantly communicated what was happening. If you want the stress taken out of any house buying/selling these are the ones to use. Keep up the good work!

We have been using Rowberrys since we bought our first house 5 years, since then they also provided Wills services and more recently they have sold our house. All went smoothly, Stirling and his team are top professionals - always courteous, whilst retaining a humorous twist, which I must admits is sometimes needed when dealing with certain legal processes. Would thoroughly recommend them.

One star is all I can award this company.
At the start of the agreed contract 18 months ago even with the difficulties of the pandemic we had regular updates.
Sadly this has turned into a disappointing and upsetting experience all while we were grieving .
The last communication was in august .
Since December 2021 my many requests for an update received the response ‘ I’ll get back to you ‘.
Last month I registered my complaint and was told it was hoped they would respond in 7 days .
To date I have heard nothing .
The service we have experienced is very poor

We had a very difficult transaction to deal with and Stirling made sure at each stage we were protected and looked after. Lauren was always on hand to help move things on through Covid, even when Govt agencies were slow to respond. For our business it was about having solicitors who were honest and straightforward and that's just what we had from Rowberrys. Very happy with our outcome.
