Horrendous company

Horrendous company - the item arrived - it is too small for an adult - it is barely big enough for a child. The item was a leopard print chaise. The company was not helpful at all. They will not refund the item without me paying to ship the item back - the shipping both ways is more than the item. Ridiculous. The shipping company put the box in the elevator and left - I never got to see it out of the box. Royal Art Palace said I should not have taken delivery but I did not get to see the product. Their delivery company - not mine. I wish there was something less than one star because they do not even deserve that. Royal Art Palace - what a joke. Never buy anything from them. I wish I had looked at Trust Pilot first. I will do so before any other online purchase.

The dimensions of the chaise are displayed on the product page in both centimeters and inches before purchase.
The received item therefore corresponds to the selected model and its specifications.

When a product does not meet expectations but is not defective, a return remains possible and the shipping cost is not covered, as is standard for distance sales.

Regarding delivery, the carrier delivered the parcel to the address provided. Customers may refuse the delivery or contact us immediately if inspection is not possible at that time so that we can assist.

Our customer service did respond and offered a return solution accordingly.

If it's broken during shipment, they won't replace it.

During shipment the legs of the chair broke off. We we contacted Royal Art Palace they replied with:

"Between the shipper and the recepient, there is a shipping company that also has to also take responsability for certain actions and how the order is handled."

I would not order unless you want to gamble on receiving the good intact. They do not fix items that arrive broken.

To proceed, the standard claim procedure requires confirmation and handling through the transport process so that the replacement can be issued.

In this case, a solution was proposed but could not be completed without the required cooperation to finalize the claim.

The refund was attempted using the original payment method, as required by payment regulations.

However, the issuing bank rejected the credit transaction.
In such situations the merchant cannot force a refund back to the card and must request alternative bank details from the customer to complete the reimbursement.

We remain ready to finalize the refund as soon as valid transfer details are provided.

waited more than 3 months for couple…

waited more than 3 months for couple items which was promised 2-4 week at the time of ordering. the order still not complete and the responses from the customer service are non bearable, it is like talking to robots. they have sent some part of the in partial shipments without letting you when and the packing was horrible, some small damages. unless you are in for a months of torture with your money. STAY AWAY! (they dont accept the bad reviews on their office website - what a scam...)

BUYER BEWARE

On 24th of April, I ordered a vase from RAP from their website, no issues at all. I was told the order would take 4-6 weeks, which was fine by me. By the 5th week, I emailed asking when my order would be delivered, I was told it wasn't yet 6 weeks and that besides May was a quiet month due to all the bank holidays. After receiving this response, I enquired in i could cancel my order, I received an email saying Yes. I proceeded to cancel my order and this was when my nightmare began.
After receiving an email confirming my order had been cancelled, I asked when I was would receive my refund and i was told 14 days. 16 days later, I had not received my refund. I emailed the company explaining this and was told they'd enquire from their accountant. This was odd, my order was made online, surely their online payment system was automated. Anyhow, they emailed bank saying the refund had been made and i should check with my bank as it had left France. I replied saying my bank alerts me when i receive a refund and there was nothing. They adamantly insisted and said they were not going to run away with my £317 to the Bahamas or suddenly close their business. Implying my money was a meager amount for their almighty company after I had said they wanted to keep my hard-earned money.
The back and forth continued. I asked for the exact date the refund was made and proof of refund. They couldn't provide this instead saying the refund was made the week of the 10th of June. Again, I replied saying the week of the 10th of June wasn't a date as there are several days in the week of the 10th of June.
At this point, they stopped replying me. I then reached out to my bank who then advised I open a dispute against the company detailing the issue and proof of correspondence, which I did and voila, my refund suddenly appeared in my account on Sunday 23rd June. After my bank had given them 35 days to respond. After claiming my refund was issued week of the 10th of June.
I sent RAP an email this morning letting them know I would be leaving a review to warn others of the very terrible customer service i experienced. And instead of apologising for their short-comings, they instead claimed "refund was done when told and Royal Art Palace is not responsible if banks take their time with the money transfer" and further saying to me a customer who just wanted her refund that "we ask you kindly to stop harassing and accusing RAP of actions that were not carried out..."
This is their meaning of an apology after causing me mental distress.
Finally, thank God for a great banking system. I have my money bank.

Shocking customer service, never again from this company‼️

They promised to deliver the chairs in 4-8 weeks and after 8 weeks they always said "next week". After the 14th week, I had enough and then "management" announced in their email that buy your furniture from IKEA and they are not Mc Donalds😳😳😳??? What!!! 14 weeks and I didn't get my chairs. Unbelievable! And what a response from the company's management. Never order anything from this company‼️

…And now 2years later they send me an answer, which is not even true🤣🤣🤣🤣

My experience with this company is Terrible


My experience with this company is terrible, I do not advise buying anything from them under any circumstances, it could be considered a scam.
After purchasing and paying for the item online through PayPal, in addition to the fee that Royal Art Palace charges you for shipping, I receive, after waiting several weeks, the item in an apparently undamaged box, delivered to me by a carrier, which does not wait for it to be unpacked, I immediately open the box and find the bas-relief with several breaks and broken in half, after making the claim and writing to Royal Art twice, the solution they offer me is:
that I myself be responsible for the cost of resending the damaged product, in this way, they would only return me a new item, and to make matters worse, they ask me to also be responsible for making a claim myself to the transport company that they hired and with which they manage their shipments (Seur), that is to say: they completely ignore it, my opinion is that this company, unprofessional, unfairly unprotects and abandons the consumer, who in my case, I have bought a damaged product for the price of one new, and to them it seems normal.

Amazing!

Ordered a black faux leather chaise longue on the 13th June, it was in stock and dispatched on the 20th June and delivered on 28th July, which I thought was good considering it was furniture being delivered from France to the UK and had to go through customs and logistics etc. The whole experience with Royal Art Palace was great and they have good communication.
I was kept informed of my shipments progress via the tracking link all the way, and Hellman logistics who dealt with the customs and delivery were fantastic. They contacted me on Friday 21st July with the customs payment information and said delivery would be in 1-3 working days after payment received. I paid and emailed her back and asked if it could be delivered on a Friday as I don't work on that day so would be at home, and straight away it was arranged that it would be delivered the following Friday on the 28th.
Delivery day arrived and sure enough the delivery arrived that afternoon and the driver was absolutely lovely. He waited whilst I checked the item, which was very well packaged, and it was perfect. The chaise longue is absolutely beautiful! I love it I'm so happy with it! It is going to look amazing in our new house which we move to in a few weeks.
All in all, a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I would definitely buy from Royal Art Palace again :)

Worked well for us

Super fast shipping, nice product, and good email communications. Very well wrapped but the box itself should have been reinforced on the inside. Risky! We got lucky. Also, it didn't process for shipping, internally, until after the promised shipping date had passed and they got a nudge by email. Still, the quality product got here intact and very quickly.

Bad experience

I was looking forward to my new mirror in rokoko style. The upper part was broken and the backside made in an unprofessional artisanal manner. Sending it back is impossible due to the size of the parcel unless you book a cargo service four times that costly than the mirror itself....

I PLACED MY ORDER ONLINE IN NOV 2022…

I PLACED MY ORDER ONLINE IN NOV 2022 AND DID A BANKWIRE FOR THE ENTIRE PURCHASE. AS OF TODAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FURNITURE.
CLAIM THEY ARE WAITING ON FREIGHT QUOTES FOR 2 WEEKS AND THE FURNITURE FABRICATION IS NOT COMPLETED YET. THEY HAD SAID THIS SINCE THE END OF DECEMBER. I HAVE CALLED THEM DURING THEIR TIME OF BUSINESS AND NEVER NO ANSWER. PLEASE ADVISE ON WHAT TO DO. THANKS

Worst company I have ever dealt with

Ordered 13500 Euro worth of furniture from France to Ireland
It arrived late with 10 items badly damaged
2 large mirrors in bits due to poor packing and no protection
After endless e mails and involvement of the European consumer affairs authority
This vile company absolutely refuse to replace or refund the brew items
Absolutely awful extremely mean company with no regard for consumer rights and no intention of any compensation
They won’t start a claim against the courier either despite the delivery people writing down that the pallet was badly broken
Furniture ok if intact
But nightmare awful company
Avoid at all costs
They answer no e mails now and my credit card company is trying to charge back smashed items
