Luxury Prices, Budget Service: The RSVLTS "Social Media Trap"

Zero stars was not an option sadly.

I’ll start with the bottom line: Do not let the flashy social media ads and "limited edition" hype fool you. My experience with RSVLTS has been a masterclass in overpromising and under-delivering.

The Poor Fit and Design
For a shirt that is marketed as a premium, high-end garment, the actual product is a letdown. The designs that look vibrant and crisp on a backlit smartphone screen arrive looking dull and cheap in person. But the biggest issue is the sizing. They provide "fit guides" that are seemingly works of fiction. I followed the instructions, yet the shirt fits nothing like advertised. It’s clear they spend more on their marketing budget than they do on quality control or consistent manufacturing.

The "Restocking" Extortion
This company has no brick-and-mortar presence, which means you have to buy-to-try. You’d think a company confident in its product would offer a seamless return process. Instead, they hit you with a 10% restocking fee. It is an absolute "gotcha" tactic. They charge you a premium price for the shirt, and then charge you again for the "privilege" of returning a product that didn't live up to their own advertisements. It feels less like a retail business and more like a scheme to siphon money from customers who are stuck with ill-fitting clothes.

The "4-Year-Old" AI & Ghost Customer Service
Trying to get help is where the real nightmare begins. If you’re looking to speak to a human being, forget about it. Their customer service "portal" is powered by an AI that feels like it was programmed by a toddler. It forces you through a labyrinth of circular questions that lead nowhere. I attempted to use the portal during a holiday sale, arguably the time they should be most prepared and it was completely broken.

The Reality Behind the Brand
While the customers are stuck in "portal loops" and losing 10% of their hard-earned money on returns, the brand’s leadership seems more interested in playing "Wolf of Wall Street." It’s easy to project a lifestyle of yachts and success when you’re "praying" on social media users and hiding behind a broken automated system that prevents people from getting their money back.

Final Verdict: Save your money. There are plenty of shirt companies that actually value their customers, provide human support, and don’t penalize you for their own sizing inconsistencies. RSVLTS is all flash, no substance, and zero accountability.

Don’t waste your time

Once this company got AI it turned to garbage. Same issues I’m seeing in other reviews. Got the wrong size shirt. And can’t get anyone to help me. Went through the exchange process and was charged for it again when I shouldn’t have been. I own over 35 shirts from this company a couple hats and jackets. I will never be spending another dollar of my money with them. Their customer service is like original Apple Maps bad. People that work for this company should be embarrassed. I’m calling shenanigans.

II would of give this site no stars but i had to.reported RSVLTS,After choosing the…

I reported RSVLTS,After choosing the StarWars Varity Jacket LTD Edition. Did the normal stuff to get to check out. There chose of payment was Shop & it was unavailable,so there was an option to use Google Pay or PayPal.I chose paypal with a Confirmation email from my bank with the 6 digits number,I entered it wrong twice so when I backed out to write down the number I went back to the page & the correct number had been filled in correctly which I thought was strange, so when I was sent to the paypal page I put my email address & password in the it was asking me how much money do I take home after tax.Do I own the property with options that I put Tenent, then was asked how much rent I pay monthly & how much cash im left with after that.
So i backed out REDFLAG.I asked Gemini & they literally said this is a red flag, paypal would not asked these questions & told me to immediately change my password & contact my bank.Very shoddy, now luckily I didn't give no bank details but I would of hated to think what would of happened if I had. The outcome was they think when I backed out to get the 6 digit number it more than likely took me to a scam site especially when there preferd payment method was not available. I even got 2 emails from rsvlts asking me to go back & complete your checkout, the 2nd saying its low stock come on back, now my bank said no legitimate site would send further emails within that time frame. So just be aware Don't trust this site.

Awful Service

2 of last 3 orders did not arrive. Last order i placed on December 5 and it did not arrive. Went back and forth with them for a week. They finally agreed to send a new shipment. When it arrived after christmas the wrong shirt was in it. When i reached out to them they told me the one i ordered was now out of stock. If i want a refund i have to wait until they receive the shirt i did not order back before they would even start the process. Placed upwards of 20 orders with them in the last year and can honestly say they have gone down hill as a company. Don't waste your time with them, the order has a 50% chance of arrival and if it does it may not even be what you ordered.

I wouldn't even give a star

I wouldn't even give a star. Ordered a jacket as a Christmas present. Received completely different jacket. Took almost an hour to even figure out how to report this problem. Was told I must send a picture of incorrect jacket with tags still attached. Understandable. Was then told that I must start a return/exchange online. They would then send me a return box and email me the shipping label that I have to print. Don't even have a printer. Once they receive the incorrect jacket that I didn't even order, they will then send the jacket that I have actually paid for. I have been begging for someone to call me as the emails back and forth are also not very clear. Nothing, not even an acknowledgement of this request. After they received the picture of the incorrect item, they should have immediately put the jacket I bought in the mail for expedited shipping. Now, who knows when I am going to get this Christmas gift. Also, I am out of town for Christmas dealing with all of this. RSVLTS does not care. The response I received was "Our bad. Sometimes things happen out of our control." I understand mistakes happen. How companies rectify the mistake is very telling. RSVLTS does not care about their customers and the inconvenience their mistake has caused. I now have to do all of the legwork to get what I paid for. Could be considered fraud if you ask me. I will never buy anything from them again. Avoid at all costs. They will take your money and you'll never get your product. Worst customer service I've ever received when the mistake was made by the retailer.

Order took 22 days

I ordered on November 18th. The order (2 shirts) did not leave the warehouse until December 5th. I had reached out to their customer service and received email replies from an AI bot that was conflicting information about the location of the package with one email saying it was on it's way but not scanned by DHL yet and the next saying it had not left the warehouse. The package did not arrive until December 10th. After our family gift exchange which means I had no gifts, but should have as I ordered in plenty of timing, 22 days to arrive.
I have reached out since the arrival of the package asking about the consistency of this issue and it has been crickets.
The shirts look fine, but at this point they are not useful as our exchange has happened and I had to find other gifts as the recipients do not live in town.

DON'T ORDER!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered a shirt for a Christmas present and wish I never did. I knew it would take a while coming overseas to the UK so I ordered on the 18th November. Problems started to arise when it got to December and I had not had any shipping updates since the 20th November. Emailed to ask about the lack of updates and was answered with an AI bot which just sent me the tracking link. I eventually got an email saying it had been held up at Border Control and it would arrive soon. Today, almost a month later, I finally recieved my parcel. I opened the parcel to find not only the completely wrong shirt (nothing at all like I ordered!) but in the completely wrong size too! Ordered a Batman Shirt in XL, recieved a Rudolph Shirt in S. This was meant to be someone's main Christmas gift and the shirt I ordered has now sold out of the size online so I can't get one at all. It wouldn't have come in time for Christmas either. Emailed them and was first answered by AI again then by a human. The email I thought was very inappropriate basically like they were saying "haha whoopsies our bad!" when actually they had ruined someone's Christmas gift.
I've asked for a refund ASAP as I've had to pay out for a replacement gift to ensure it comes in time for Christmas.

I’m really disappointed in what RSVLTS…

I’m really disappointed in what RSVLTS has become. This used to be a great company, but the quality of the experience has been slipping significantly. The sizing is completely inconsistent—no two Mediums fit the same anymore, which makes ordering a gamble.

Customer service has gone downhill as well. They replaced real support with an AI bot that answers emails, and it shows. There’s no customer service phone line, and getting in touch with an actual human feels almost impossible. I placed an order on 11/19, and the status has been stuck on “processing” since 11/21 with zero updates. I paid for express shipping and still have nothing to show for it.

I’ve sent multiple emails, but they’re all routed to the bot and never handled by a real person. At this point, if my package doesn’t arrive by the end of the week, I’m going to have to involve my credit card company.

RSVLTS used to be reliable, but this is just unacceptable. I hope they turn things around, but for now, I’m extremely disappointed.

Their AI operates better than their humans

I used to love and advocate for this company and tell people to buy from here. However I placed an order for three shirts which comes out to about $200. My error I did mess up and selected the wrong size on one of the shirts. I immediately reached out and was told to wait for the order to be fulfilled then to request a replacement order. The order was fulfilled and I submitted my request for the exchange. Please tell me how I’m getting the exchange item before I even received the original order? I’ve reached out to them multiple times stating that the tracking has not moved since November 21st on both the DHL and USPS websites. They’re blaming the carrier and Thanksgiving Day for the delay in updates despite receiving a separate order the day after Thanksgiving. I could understand if DHL said one thing and USPS said another thing but both websites are showing me the last update being November 21st. Mind you I placed other orders after this order and one has already arrived and the others are arriving today with this order nowhere to be found and to only be told to“kindly wait”. What’s even funnier is that when I brought this concern up originally, their own AI software even thought it was suspicious and red flagged my concern to a human whose response was colder than the computer’s.

Defects shirt and pay shipping

I ordered a shirt as a gift and considered as an international package as we are in Canada. Item arrived with many holes and defects in it. Unwearable item.

When advised Rsvlts about it. IA answered me that it wasbmy responsability to send them back the item and pay for the tracked shipping. It s kinda stupid. It is their responsability to send me new item without defects free of charge.

Horrible customer service

Ordered 2 items, items were never delivered. The tracking number states it was delivered however it was not delivered to my home. Our ring camera shows no deliveries that day at all. Reached out to customer service MULTIPLE times to no avail. I have been told repeatedly to check my property for the package and check with neighbors, I was even told to go to the post office because “there’s a good chance it’s at the post office” as ridiculous as that sounded I did go and guess what…. No package. This foolishness has been going on for 5 days and still no resolution. At this point I am beyond frustrated! We have ordered from this company before and had no issues, items were VERY SLOW in arriving but did arrive. I ordered the items for gifts and I have no merchandise and I have paid over 100 dollars for LITERALLY NOTHING.

Ordered a hat

Ordered a hat, stated processing time was 1-2 days then shipping chosen was 3-5 days. After nearly 5 days for the order to process, the hat would no longer arrive in time for my needs. Attempted to cancel the order which was all through AI originally mind you. Finally got a human agent who stated the label had been created so technically it had shipped and they cannot cancel it. Will be refusing the package and/or returning without even opening the box.

WARNING -- Not Ethical, Does Not Value Customers

WARNING: Don't order from this company. They work with the SHOP app and offer deals like 40% in SHOP cash, which you never receive. They then blame SHOP, and SHOP blames RSVLTS. Then they'll tell you its somehow your fault. They offered me a coupon code which is not sufficient, and they set it up to expire before their big sale. Not worth the hassle for overpriced shirts. Customer service is mostly AI and not helpful. Not Better Business Bureau, so there's no reason for them to be fair.

I'm giving 2 stars because in the past…

I'm giving 2 stars because in the past I did have positive experiences with them. It sucks when your worst experience by a large margin also involves the most expensive item you ever bought there.

It was a gift for my husband, a limited edition Yellowstone shirt jacket. It was well over $100, around $150 iirc. He loved it immediately. After TWO weeks the rivet buttons were already breaking... Never in my life have I seen buttons break this fast or this easily. I've rarely seen buttons break at all! Usually the threading breaks down first and the button just falls out. No, these riveted buttons were literally coming apart in two peices.

He only wore it a half dozen times. I can't stress how well we take care of our clothes in general, but especially our jackets. My husband still has a dozen jackets he bought back in the 70s and 80s! The only jackets I've ever tossed were bad vegan/faux leather jackets from like H&M that had an MSRP of $25-50 and would beging to 'flake' after a year or two. I have experience with buttons falling off collared shirts and jeans after years of use, and those are easily repaired, but not these rivet types.

The alarming part came when I reached out to their customer service. It was always very cordial but the lack of options was jaw-dropping. I'm sorry but your apologies and deescalation strategies are meaningless when you make it as hard as possible to fix the busted products you sell people. I only wear your shirts for special occasions and they've held up fine, but this jacket was truly a clownshow of embarrasing and cheap craftsmanship.
-They would not allow a return.
-They would not replace it.
-They would/could not repair it themselves (claims of outsourcing, more on this later)

Their rep then offered me a proposition that initially sounded pretty nice: get the shirt repaired at a tailor and they'd reimburse me the cost of the repairs.
-They would/could not supply me with replacement buttons.
-They would/could not tell me exactly what that button's design/model was named. Shopping for one specific button online is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It's impossible. You'll never find it without key information.
-They would/could not tell me where the button came from (country of origin).

Despite giving me this nice offer, it came with absolutely no help from them at all. I take my husband's shirt jacket arounnd to several tailors and I'm just flabbergasted by the response I kept getting. No tailor in SAN FRANCISCO wanted to touch this jacket. What upsets me more is no one really explained to me why, they just kept repeating the tailor before them: "no I can't, you can't fix this." One guy was even confident enough to tell me no tailor in the city could fix this. It sounded to me like he was saying the way the shirt jacket was manufactured and constructed made it impossible to repair. Like, as soon as the buttons start coming off, it's a goner. Not a single tailor looked at the brand nor checked the tag for material or country of origin. They looked directly at the button and said no.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the materials and construction were intentionally done as cheap as possible so long as the exterior aesthetic wasn't impacted. This meant making compromises with something as serious as the reparability of the garment itself. I sincerely hope they weren't aware of this before sending me around on a wild goose chase.

Any claims of ethical manufacturing or sustainability practices will be heavily protested by me in the future since it's clear they would be lying if they can't even provide the basic information I asked for. I'm actually genuinely concerned their products could be manfuactured in places engaging in extreme human rights violations.

Great designs, poor quality and awful customer service

The shirts look great but are ridiculously expensive for what you get. Quality is poor across the board, I’ve purchased shirts and hoodies and both are just as bad, you can’t wear a back pack as it ruins them, seatbelts ruin them, beards ruin them, what’s the point of a shirt or hoodie you can’t actually wearing without it being ruined pretty much straight away and having to be so careful how you use them as the slightest thing causes damage (if they aren’t already sent with faults) Not to mention inconsistencies with the sizing and they are poorly made, with seems not sewn properly, short sleeve lengths often below the elbow so they look odd and baggy, this seems to be more of a recent thing probably because they are churning out as much as possible with little regard to the product and the customer service is dreadful. If you do get a response it’s generally just being told tough luck, but they never respond to any complaints or the quality issues. I asked a question on Instagram regarding whether a product was available for uk customers so I knew if I would be able to purchase it when they do their limited drops but apparently that’s not a question allowed to be asked and they delete anything along those lines. A recent episode of bully was on their Facebook page from the owners/customer service people that has finally made step away from the brand as they really don’t encompass what they say they do. If you can get a cheap shirt off eBay or vinted then it’s not so bad but paying full price for the shirts really is robbery!

Very trustworthy. I have now bought 16 shirts from RSVLTS…

I have now bought 16 shirts from RSVLTS and each and every shirt was been amazing....except one. It had an issue and I was right at 28 days (it had some thread pulls that I knew would be a problem long term). I simply sent it back and they actually didn't have a new one (they were sold out) so they offered me store credit or repayment. I chose store credit. I have been wearing these for the past few years. As long as you wash them in cold water and dry them by hand, they last for a very long time. I think they could offer a longer return policy if there is a defect, but overall its has been an incredible experience and I love their shirts.

RSVLTS SUCKS!! 0 STARS

The other reviews are right their customer service sucks. My wife bought me some shirts as a surprise because she knows what a fan i was. They refused to give us the points because it was under her name(same address). 4 shirts! I already bought so many and they simply said no. 80$ a shirt including shipping (which is expensive about 11$) and it takes a massive amount of points just to get a 50$ off code. They lost me as a customer. F Rsvlts!!!!

If I could give less than one star I…

If I could give less than one star I would. Ordered a Darth Maul shorts and shirt set for my fiancé in medium. I was sent medium shorts and a small shirt. I ordered a replacement in the correct size and RSVLTS assured me that they would refund the 10% handling fee and shipping because it was their mistake. I send back the incorrect size and I get the replacement in the mail a few days later and it’s another small shirt! My trip to Disney is now just days away and despite planning ahead I still don’t have the set in the correct size. I email them again and they tell me they’re sold out of mediums. Unbelievable. Did they lie about stock? Are they really just that incompetent? Truly the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a solid decade. Their clothing is attractive but they’re impossible to work with and don’t take responsibility for their mistakes. It’s not worth the trouble, believe me. Now my fiancé has half an outfit, while I’ve paid like $40 extra dollars for the extra shipping and handling charges and markups since the first set I bought was on sale but the replacements of the same shirt were not. Most disappointing online shopping experience I’ve ever had.
