Leaky drain pluggs
My wife purchased a 32 qt ultra light for me at Walmart! It is ok for keeping ice, but not great! The real problem is the larger drain plug leaks and gets water every where! I tried customer service but without a receipt they would not help! I didn’t want a new cooler just new drain plugs! The design on the ones from Walmart are designed to allow condensate at the plug and leak water as well! Frustrated and disappointed!
WARNING for RTIC Soft Pack coolers
WARNING for RTIC Soft Pack coolers, think twice before purchasing! Our 30 soft pack cooler was out on bow of our boat for quicker access and the sun released the glue that held the top to the cooler (see pics)! RTIC Rep. Amairani S said, to bad the one year warranty is over, buy some 3M 5200 glue! REALLY? UNSAT RTIC for a $119.00 product! Why don't you have China use the 3M glue in the first place when they produce them!!! With an answer like this from your Rep., I am never buying any of your products again and nobody else should either!! Facebook you all have been warned about RTIC cheap chinese glue products. BOLO for my TikTok video coming soon!

I have a soft side cooler less than 2 years and the zipper broke
They won’t replace without a receipt this was a gift so I do not have (who keeps receipts anyway?)
They state a lifetime warranty and what does it matter if I have a receipt or not???
NEVER buying one again
Owned soft cooler over 2 years, the zipper off track and they won't help because I don't have receipt.
I was gifted a soft cooler through my employer (employee appreciation). Loved using the cooler on road trips and weekend getaways over the past couple of years. Recently the zipper came off track, I contact the company to find out I will need to provide email address, name, phone number of purchaser... no problem; I gave them several names in the department that deal with employee appreciation. Nope, none of the names worked...SO, I spoke with my employer. The cooler I was gifted was donated by a local vendor...no receipt, no name, no info. RTIC tells me they can't assist me without a purchase receipt. So frustrating! It's a zipper off track... they do not stand behind what they are selling.

Ordered 4 cases of mugs but they only come in cases of 24. I needed 100 and customer service wouldn’t honor the case discount on the 4 single mugs I needed despite spending $1500 on 96 of them. Terrible customer service. Won’t order again, zero help for trying to help out a small business.

I ordered the 72qt ultralight cooler from RTIC online store. I opened the box and cooler and it smelled very badly like rotten fish. Maybe this was not a new cooler.. wow. Disappointed.
After reading a few of these…
After reading a few of these reviews,I'm not even going to bother trying to get my money back for a 52 ultra light cooler that holds ice for all of 16 hours. Total pile of junk an incredibly well advertised dollar store cooler is what this is.
I AM DONE with RTIC!
I owned 1 of every size soft cooler including 2 each of the 12-can and 20-can and one of the hard coolers. Four of the soft coolers either "came apart" in the lid area of the zippers got permanently stuck. I went to their HQ in Houston and was not looking for free replacements, just some sort of concession on purchasing replacements. The BEST they could offer was 10%! :) I am done with RTIC forever. Poor support of what seemed to be good products...for a while! Moving on...
Poor quality materials and customer service
I purchased this bag in white, red, and blue about a year ago and only used it a handful of times. Its always been stored in doors and never left outside. When I was organizing my shelves, I found the bag discolored yellow in several spots all around the bag. Only the white portion was discolored/stained. I reached out to RTIC customer service to ask why this would happen, and how to get the discoloration out. Instead of answering my question, they sent me back a canned response saying normal wear and tear, including washing isn't covered under warranty. This is not normal wear and tear if only used a couple of times, stored inside and the materials somehow change colors. I then called and they told me that it looks like sunscreen stains. Funny thing is, that cannot be the case because of how I use it. So poor materials used (perhaps that's why they stopped selling the white bag), and horrible customer service. Save your money and go elsewhere. By the way, they also remove poor reviews - the first one I wrote, they removed from their website. BEWARE!

I bought a RTIC 52 Quart Ultra-Light Hard Cooler, Trailblazer. At first I was in love, but a year later the cooler no longer seals due to a bowing issue on the lid. The cooler never really kept stuff cold that long either (max 1 day). Walmart brand is a better buy. Warranty is over in one year with this brand so even though its a manufacturing issue, they won't replace my useless cooler.

seems like a shady company Cooler is smaller than i thought and i get that. i requested a return, was originally told a refund would take 3-5 days, i call again and they now said 7-10, seems super shady. I would NOT recommend buying from the company directly.
Really bad experience
Really bad experience. Please buy a YETI. They will not stand behind their products. My zipper pull broke - it was hardly used (just out of a short warranty) and they would not even send me a new latch. I had to order and pay a ton for shipping this small latch item that could have cost $1.00 for them to mail. Also would be kept on hold for an hour with annoying bird chirping wait music. Disaster of a company. Please get a YETI.

OMG it is 2023 and this company still uses horse and buggy to get you your orders. Order now if you need it by Christmas.
Failed to meet expectations in every way
Shipping is terribly slow. Did not receive any kind of shipping confirmation even after I tried to get an update on my order. Customer service is non-existent, and the product quality is far below what they claim. I would not purchase from this company again.
Don’t shop here if you’re left handed
Sell a product without informing buyer it’s for right handed users.
Try to order a “left handed” lid and find out that with shipping it costs more the the mug itself.
Help line and emails Do Not get answered.
Definitely a second class company… save your money.

RTIC refuses to refund purchase
Ordered a large soft cooler two months ago. It wasn't what we wanted, so we returned it immediately. Got a confirmation that RTIC received the refund more than 8 weeks ago. However, they have refused to refund us for the cooler. So, for two months, they have had their product and our money and flat out refuse to give us our refund back. This sounds absurd, and yet it is the truth. The company claims that the refund cannot happen until the purchase is out of "processing." Tell me, what type of processing takes two months to issue a refund?! This is a shady, poorly run company and it needs to be sued out of business.
I bought three 40can soft coolers
I bought three 40can soft coolers. two as gifts and one for personal use. Also purchased two large ice packs and two small. Used cooler for first time today 7/29/2022 and am very disappointed. Took to grocery store and used to bring home frozen food. Total time items were in cooler with ice packs was 1 1/2 hours. Eerything thawed out. Does not perform as advertised. I spent over $400 for these coolers.
I preordered an ultralight cooler in…
I preordered an ultralight cooler in hopes it would be as good as my other RTIC coolers. Well when I finally got it, it was the end of the season so I put it in my laundry room & there it sat until I went to use it. After a few months of use, I noticed the lid wasn’t holding up like the older coolers I had from them so when I reached out to order a replacement, they said they didn’t sell them & I had to replace the entire cooler since it was past the warranty date. Which I knew it was past that date & just wanted to order the lid & replace it myself. Mind you that over the years, I’ve had a lot of coolers & every one of them has replacement lids available if it’s a model they still sell & carry. This cooler was not abused & I know some won’t believe that, but it wasn’t! My older coolers from them, now those have been used abused over the years & are still working & holding up flawlessly & that’s why I preordered this style. So when I reached out to order a part to fix this I was dumbfounded that one, they kept emphasizing it was past the warranty date, which I already knew & two, they basically said I had to order a new one if I wanted a functional lid that worked as intended since mine was past the warranty date. So from the entire conversation with one of their staff members, all I got out of the conversation was if a cooler is past the warranty date, you’re out of luck & have to order a new one if something like the lid breaks. Again, I have several other coolers I’ve replaced the lids on & have never been told buy a new cooler. As long as they still made & sold the model I had, they would help me out.
