A really excellent pad, well made with every attention to detail.
This pad feels really close to playing on a drum and has lived up to my expectations, I would really recommend it as a serious practice tool.
Just one consideration for UK customers, you are going to get a thumping great customs bill. Still worth it.

A great product! A very good practice pad. With a great feel

Ordering from their shop is seamless. I got the 14" pipe band pad with a Core-Tec Elite head. The pad is gorgeous! It's the sound and feel you have been dreaming of. Every pad I've had before is a toy compared to what RD is producing. I wished I hadn't dragged my feet on this.

I just received the 14in Pipe Band pad with the Evans Pipe Band snare batter head. I am very impressed with it's quality of materials and craftsmanship. It's performance is outstanding, night and day from playing on a conventional practice pad. It is without a doubt a great investment to enhance your evolution as a drummer. I still have the smile on my face I got from playing on it.

Great practice pad, very well made comes with drum key if you ever need to replace the Evans G2 head. It sits perfectly on my TAMA practice pad clamp stand as well, great product.

I bought a drum pad for a Christmas present for my son. From the moment I placed the order, the company was great. They communicated with me right away to keep me informed of the build status and shipping. They even sent me a picture of it once it was finished. They really made me feel like I was a VIP in their communication, which is great to see in todays world of online buying. As far as the product goes, it is much nicer than expected. You can tell they really take care in what they build. My son loves it and uses it just about everyday.

Received my new pad today and I have to say, it’s one good looking drum pad. Love the rim and the sound it gives with my drum sticks is superb. My nights of practice to come. Recommend to any drummer.

The longer I beat on this practice pad, the more I'm satisfied with its performance. I get a lot of inquiries from fellow students; it definitely turns heads. It's so much louder than other practice pads, but the feel is as close as you can get to the real thing. I have an Evans PB-SB1 head on it which is absolutely bullet proof (Standard 14" rim).

It's worth the wait and the extra expense because I don't think the quality can be matched on this side of the galaxy.

This pad lives up to its reputation. It has a great feel and is beautifly finished. I started out in the 1960's playing in pipe band and in dance bands, so i have used a variety of pads in my time. So far, this one gets my vote. On a personal note, now at age 84, I suffer from an illness called "essential tremor" especially in my left hand. I hope working on some old paradiddle exercises will help and that my great-grandson might might catch the bug...That is the drumming bug!
