By the time you go bouldering with Magdust Chalk for the first time, you will notice that there are huge differences when it comes to chalk. I don't want to use any other chalk anymore. The bould... See more

I ordered a chalk bucket which arrived super quick (less than a week)
The quality of the product is really good and the overall experience made me want to order more

I always order magdust. usually arrives within 2 weeks after purchase. No issues so far.

I got one of Rungnes bag ,brush ,chalk and tape packages and when it arrived it surpassed my expectations.
The bag is well built made with tough materials with handy phone sized pockets that have loops for your brushes ,the opening has a great magnetic closer so chalk stays safe . The brush is nice and the bristles are tightly packed giving a good clean to rock and indoor holds . The chalk is magic and in a different league to others I have used 🥳 Magdust all the way . I have yet to use the tape but it did come in 2 thicknesses which will prove to be very handy and save trying to thin it up for between finger joints ,ten thumbs up

Guys- this is serious.
I am a long lasting beginner, with humble expectations, doing short indoor climbing a couple of times a week.
I enjoy it, and here and then purchase something small for the heck of it, but due to age and injuries I do not expect too much.
I just did my first climb with this MAGBALL stuff, and it must have been my best climb ever. Easily got through a project that held me back for more than a month, with other problems almost solving themselves.
This is too soon for me to pass a judgment, but I will keep it up for the next year or so for sure. This should be easy if the delivery is always as fast as this one.

This is one of, if not the highest quality climbing apparel companies out there. Chalk is clearly in a league of its own. Clothes are extremely comfortable and fashionable, could be worn in gym or out. One gripe I’ve had is that the they seem to be out of stock in most sizes quite often, which can be frustrating. But, there are so many great options it’s not hard to find one you’ll love!

Ordered 3 products. All great quality, arrived well and the ordering process was smooth.

Great products, of good quality and very well organise delivery process.

The chalk as well as the clothes are very high quality. The shipping cost policy was very transparent and the package arrived in a timely manner. I will definitely buy another pair of Highballer pants, they‘re fantastic. The size quiz on the website was spot on as well.

I can't discount other people's experiences, but seeing bad reviews for customer support weirds me out. One of the t-shirts I ordered was defective and a hole popped up after a wash. I sent a refund/replacement request with a photo attached and got a response not even 30 minutes later with an order placed in my name for the same t-shirt - a free replacement. They didn't ask for a return or anything else, just let me know that a brand new shirt of the same model and size is on the way. Very happy with the customer support experience.

Terrible customer service, when i had to return some product all i got was a return lable and confusion. I cant print the lable, and I have already spend 18 euros for the return, and I might have to spend even more if i need to print the lable. I tried to contact Rungne through their chat, but I waited for a long time without even getting a reply from an AI, this is a complet joke especially when the products are expensive.
Do better and reply to my chat.
Update:
I got a reply from the customer service, but I waited so long that i wasnt at my computer st the time, it was atleast 30 minutes, and I had to go, so they promissed to email me, which never happened, so its still incredibly disappointing
Another update:
Haven't heard from them even after almost 6 hours after they said they had to look into it. Unfortunately i still have no idea what im supposed to do with the return, and there has been no cpntact from them from any other platform, so this is an incredibly annoying situation for a paying customer. Comment to Rungne Please contact me on the mail i sent to you through trustpilot, this is getting annoying. This has made the review to from 2 stars to 1.

First off, the quality of the items that i've recieved are very nice! I've bought a chalk bucket for myself and a friend.
So i thought i would buy myself a pair of pants for climbing from there as well.
As i've gotten accustomed to when online shopping i bought it in two different sizes, to be able to see which one would fit me.
I knew i had to pay for returns which is fine -- but it ended out being way more than expected.
First i paid ~100 dkk plus for having the pants shipped to me, fair enough. Then unfortunately neither of the pants fit me, which sucks. So i initiate a return for both.
I had to pay a 40dkk restocking fee per pair of pants + the postage for shipping.
This means that i've now paid around 300 kroner for having two pair of pants shipped to me and returned back.
I can accept having to pay for the return and the shipping. But adding a restocking fee on top of that just seems excessive when the customer already has to pay the shipping fee.
So in total it ended up costing me 300+ dkk to attempt to buy a pair of pants . That's around 1/3 of the original prize of the pants i were trying to buy.
I wish it would have been more explicitly stated how much i may end up paying if i were to return the items -- i can't see any mentions of the restocking fee anywhere. It's probably lodged deep somewhere in the midst of some agreement you say yes to when shopping there. But making it more explicit would be nice...
To make matters worse they offer to waive the restocking fee if you exchange the items for something else or get a gift card. Which to me just seems slightly rude/flippant/whatever the danish word "flabet" is in english...
Their general service, quality and responsiveness is nice -- but i simply won't recommend using them as an online store when you can end up paying 1/3 of the price of an item, just trying to buy it.

I placed an order with Rungne and selected the express delivery option, which was included based on the amount I spent. I expected timely shipping as part of that service. The package was intended as a birthday gift for my partner, and although I was disappointed when it didn’t arrive on time, I remained patient and waited an additional three weeks. Unfortunately, it never arrived, and I eventually gave up on the gift and requested to return the package.
While customer support was communicative and polite throughout - no complaints there - the return and refund process took far too long. It required 25 emails just to receive my refund, which was exhausting. I found myself caught in a back-and-forth between Rungne and UPS, which, as a customer, shouldn’t have been my responsibility.
I believe that once Rungne requested the return and UPS confirmed it, the refund should have been issued without delay. Whether UPS loses the package or takes too long to return it shouldn’t fall on the customer, especially when delivery to the customer was never completed in the first place.
It would’ve gone a long way if Rungne had offered store credit or a discount as a goodwill gesture. That might have left the door open for a second purchase. Unfortunately, this experience left a poor first impression. As it stands, I wouldn’t purchase again or recommend the brand.
I genuinely hope Rungne is able to resolve its shipping and refund workflow, particularly in its relationship with UPS, to make future customer experiences smoother and less stressful.

Ordered a pair of trousers to Germany. My usual size doesn't fit, no big deal, would even have exchanged for a bigger size.
However, return postage is no less than 17,85 € for a small box that is 32*12*6cm big.
When I decided that I wanted my money back instead because I'm not risking another return trip, they charged me a restocking fee of 4,85 € on top.
So I've spent 22,70 € and have nothing to show for it.
Their merch might be superb but that's not worth it. Stay away if you're from Germany.

Bought some of their expensive magdust chalk online, came very late with no updates, when I moaned about the service they promised me a bunch of discount codes to use on next purchase. With a lot of back and forth trying these codes, none of them worked and in the end they stopped replying

Had some problems with the delivery due to ups service, and they fixed it up fairly quickly. The magdust is great

Returned a faulty chalk bag that didn't fully close and some trousers that didn't fit. They received the return on 17th Dec. After a month I asked them where my refund is, they say they've sent it and I need to take it up with my bank. After many emails they concede that the refund hasn't been sent. After more time of repeatedly being told they are waiting for a reply from "the team" and they will "loop back to me" when they know more, they eventually offer to send the refund via another method. It's 7th March and I still haven't received any of the refund.
Update: received the refund via PayPal on 28th March. They didn't take into account PayPal's fees so it ended up being $6 short, but I can't be bothered to deal with them anymore.

+ 5 stars for customer service, high quality website and product, fast shipping
-1 star for the confusing information
-1 star for the exchange fee
I was looking to buy a comfortable, stretchy, and somewhat water-resistant pair of pants for climbing and casual wear. The Rungne harness pants and the tropicfeel Protravel Chino pants fit the bill.
I'm 6' and under the sizing options for the Harness Pants there is (or was) a comment saying "The model is 185cm (6′ 1″) tall and is wearing a size M", so I ordered an M. The waist fit perfectly (I have a 30" waist) but the length from the waistband to the start of the inseam was so short that there was a bit of between-leg bulge, and the overall length was an inch or two too short. I usually wear 30" waist 34" length.
I didn't exchange them for a size L because the processing fee was around £16.00 for an exchange. If the L also didn't fit and I returned the pants, it would have cost £32 to try on two pairs of trousers. The rungne FAQ (which I read before purchasing) states: "Exchanges: The fee is applied when we process your exchange after receiving the returned item. For refunds, the fee will be deducted from the amount refunded." I didn't realise the "fee" was the same cost as the return fee ($25), I assumed there was an exchange fee. The return process was fortunately very straightforward, a return label was provided.
After I returned the pants, I ordered the tropicfeel pants in a size M, which were too big on the waist, but they let me exchange for a size S for **free**.
Aside from the sizing / returns, the Harness Pants seemed like good quality pants, both stretchy and comfortable, but the material was a bit noisy so I don't think I could have got away with wearing them casually. Customer services told me that the noise goes away with wear. I'm not putting this as a review on the Harness Pants themselves because I never had a fitting pair so it wouldn't be accurate to rate the pants down because of the logistical issues.
Customer services were helpful and friendly with my queries, and I would consider ordering from Rungne again in the future if I could have a guarantee of being able to try 2 sizes with the possibility of return for less than £32. I understand that they are probably a smaller company and are shipping from Norway, so that probably affects their flexibility with handling fees.

Their products are great, but their refund policy is a huge lie. They won't accept returns of unopened, unused products. If they finally decide to accept a return they charge over 50% of the purchase price. Online chat personnel have no idea what their policies are, but pretend to help.
Would not order from them again.
