Running on Waves is a fantastic boat with a more than fastastic crew team. We did the Agean Cruise 2021 and felt that it was one of the best travel experiences of our live. Is like cruising in a private yacht, unique and beautiful, with the very best top service on board, kind, attentive and very professional, dedicated to make your hollidays memorable.

Our family very much enjoyed our trip with running on waves. They were very accommodating and always had fun activities for us to take part in. By far the favorite being the swimming, water a slide, and tubing. Claudia and Robert made a trip for our family to remember. The food was better than any restaurant I’ve been to. The crew was always polite and working hard. Thank you so much running waves.

With the inspiring maritime flair of a sailing yacht in a class of its own, we enjoyed an extraordinary trip. When we stepped onto the ship, time began to slow down. When the weather was beautiful, we sailed to small ports near golf courses to indulge our second passion, golf. The ship offers a very special service. The wonderful, attentive and helpful team supported us a lot and fulfilled all our wishes. Especially the cruise director Robert and the hotel director Claudia read our wishes from our eyes. We enjoyed the unique feeling that we were always taken care of.
The varied cuisine of the Running on Waves can be compared to a 5-star kitchen. If it weren't for the wonderful restaurant, you could eat anywhere from the bottom of the ship because it's super clean and well-kept. The cabins are extremely cozy. But apart from showering and sleeping, they were hardly used, because the ship offers many other opportunities to relax, play or do water sports or to look up at the sky and dream in the Jakusie. We felt well and safely protected during all activities by the polite and attentive crew.
We are really looking forward to the next Golf and sail cruise with the Running on Waves.

This summer we decided to choose something unusual for a summer trip. We stopped on a sailing cruise through the Greek islands on "Running on Waves". The trip was unforgettable! Beautiful views, fresh wind, unusual photos with the beautiful ship. My husband and daughter really liked the romantic atmosphere on the ship. In addition, I would like to mention the excellent service, delicious food and comfortable atmosphere. It's so pleasant to walk barefoot on a wooden deck to the jacuzzi and enjoy there among original ropes and masts!

We cruised the Ionian Sea in September 2019.
This was our first such experience. And obviously not the last! This travel exceeded our expectations. Chic sailing ship with a great crew.The cook deserves special praise - the cuisine was excellent.

Thoughtful and interesting route. During the cruise, we visited many picturesque and romantic beaches, some of which are not accessible from land. We visited several interesting islands and ports, which are not crowded with tourists and where large cruise ships do not go.
We had a great time. Definitely - I recommend!

I sailed in September 2019 on the Running on Waves on a Golf theme cruise from Athens to Crete. I was totally impressed by the service & space on board. The food is extraordinary, always a great variety with first class quality and made with love. All the staff, but mainly Hotel Manager Robert & Cruise Director Claudia made sure we had the best time and an unforgettable trip, they are extremely friendly and helpful. The ship is so spacious and elegant and everything gives you the feeling of being on a private yacht - amazing! A relaxing holiday & wonderful experience - highly recommended!

I had the cruise on the Ionian island in September 2019 on the Ionian Sea and must confess that before I board the boat I did not really know what to expect. This was my first experience in a cruise liner and also my first summer in Greece (it will not be the last for sure) and even though I had received very good reviews of the cruise from my experienced travel agent, a boat enthusiast I sincerely did not know what to expect.
Now, I must admit that all my expectations and more were met. The managers of the cruise, Claudia and Robert, did an excellent job keeping us busy but at the same time providing the gusts with enough flexibility to enjoy our time both on board and during the inland trips. They were incredible friendly and helpful not missing a single opportunity to make our stay unforgettable.
The crew members were also very friendly, skilled and patient with us and greatly contributed to the enjoyment of the experience while the food and dinning/bar services were first class. We were just 30 guests being the boat full but we all had the feeling that the boat was ours. It is a unique experience because there simply few sail cruise boats available and the boat itself is a magnificent piece of marine art engineering.
For me, it was a most memorable experience personal experience . I would not hesitate a second to repeat it in the future again.

I sailed on Running on Waves in Greece in 2015 with my husband and 7 year-old daughter. Before the voyage, my anxiety was that the ship and activities (and probably meal) are not kid-friendly. Nothing of the kind! During the voyage my daughter felt like a duck to water  She was following the bosun Alex all the day long when on board – he was responsible for sailor’s master classes like mast climbing, making special knots, etc. The meal was absolutely fantastic for all of us! The cabin was spacious and comfortable thought it was not the place where we were spending much time – besides the fantastic activities both inside and outside the ship, there are a lot of cozy areas on board like sunny deck, outside Jacuzzi, lounge, bar. We seriously consider having another voyage aboard the boat in 2020 – it’s especially our daughter who votes for this :)

September 2018, Running On Waves at Cyclades island cruising on the Running On Waves with my family, I had the best time of my life, there is no other way to describe this experience. Every day at a different place / inland. Fantastic officers and crew on board, always by our side, whom to mention the Capt, the Chief Mate, the ladies hotel managers or the bosun (Capt. Sparrow as we used to call him). The Cabins EXCELLENT, the food through out the cruise 5* cousin, everyday at a different place with a spectacular activity offered, I will never forget joining at the breach for the Navigation lesson offered by Chief Mate, for a few moments I was the Captain of ROW. Last but not least I was also able to enjoy playing IT games at the so many relaxing places offered on ROW - excellent WIFI. To tell the truth I am looking forward to be on ROW again.

A nice kick we got past june. Sailed from Dubrovnik to Athens, a one week cruise. The ship beyond words, brand new. Fantastic crew. Meet you with champagne, all in white, in line. And later made friends with them all and felt at home.The kids were crazy about the bosun Alex, he entertained them all he could. And a pleasure to speak to people of different cultures, as managers are German and Greek, officers Russian, seamen Russian and Ukrainian, cabin mates Filippino, bartenders Russian and Filippino too. And everybody smiles. Identically, the guests were from all over the world. There were Germans, Russians, Americans, Maltese, Australians, Greeks.
Great food, mostly buffet and sometimes a la carte menu, and great having your cigar on the deck.
Bathing from the ramp when on anchor, or they take you by tender to a beach nearby. Never brought us to a wrong spot. Got also an inflatable waterslide (though it took a bit too long to get it ready) and mini-banana, and a lot of water toys.
We visited Kotor in Montenegro, never been there before, it defies description. Then there were Greek islands, and Ithaca will be our next destination, no mistake.

Greece, 2018.In general, the experience you get on board Running on waves is similar to what you find on other small ship cruises, personalized service, fine cuisine, but with several major distinctions. First, she is in mint condition. The best we ever saw. Probably because they do not operate in winter season. Second, her guest capacity is the smallest of all vessels i sailed. 40 guests max. And with two dozen crew you feel something like a tycoon. A lot of deck space. Apart from the main restaurant there is an open air bar, a terrace lounge, a cockpit lounge, a large sun deck with bubble bath. Sea bathing possible right from the stern ramp, as well as water sports. Naturally, no music halls or anything that big due to size, though they have a water slide. And a lot of activities. Culinary classes, mast climbing, steering, star navigation, to mention just a few. The service on board is very professional, but more important the overall impression very warm. Feels like they sincerely waited for you and gladly go out of their way to make you happy. Very relaxing. Special thanks to captain Alexander, Robert the manager, Claudia the cruise manager, Gregory the mate, Alex the boatswain,Igor the bartender.
As to itinerary, our best discovery was Ios. Amazing beach, the scenery to look at for ages, great restaurants nearby.
