Staff are really nice and the food is generally good albeit overpriced.
Just don't ever try the sweet eggy bread!
Terrible bananas terrible eggy bread and massive dollop of yoghurt on top! Has to be one of the most terrible dishes I've seen in a long time, just does not work at all.

Great food and service

Great food and service, but wouldn't eat in again, as had to sit next to a couple of dogs one very smelly and the other kept barking. Not a nice experience, just unlucky that day.

Lacking Goodwill

I had a voucher for two afternoon teas for which I'd missed the expiry date by 20 odd days, my mistake. Most businesses would show their goodwill and allow slightly over due vouchers to be used, but not the rather mean people at the Running Fox. The Running Fox claim "we have no way of extending it I'm afraid " - really! Seems they just want the gratuitous benefit of money for nothing!

We stopped here for lunch on the off chance we could get a table (definitely pre book!) Initially we was told there was no room but a very kind member of staff went out of her way to get us a table!
The running fox had been recommended to me by a friend who lives locally, i was not disappointed! My in laws ordered a sandwich and it was literally a jaw dropping moment when they came out! Absolutely huge and full of filling!
I would highly recommend visiting one of the running foxes if you are in the area but would advise you to pre book to avoid disappointment. The majority of their cafes are dog friendly too
