We spent a weekend in the lake hut, and had a magical time! The hut is very clean, and well equipped with all the main things you'd need for your stay. The lake location is out of this world! We had our morning coffee overlooking the lake, and watched the geese play around, it's honestly breathtaking. A big bonus for us was that you can also arrange fishing. Enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub, whilst my husband had the time of his life fishing!
We love outdoor cooking, and this had both a bbq and firepit we really enjoyed using. Great communication from host, and everything was well thought of. We couldn't recommend them enough! One of my favourite holidays I've had so far.

I booked with Rustic and Rural Retreats for a weekend away with my boyfriend. We stayed in the Panoramic View hut. The most beautiful place in the most stunning location. The area was totally tranquil and the perfect escape back to nature. I’ve never felt so relaxed and calm as I did when I stayed here. It was extremely well built with everything you could possibly need, as well as a fire pit so that you can have a BBQ outside and then roast marshmallows while the sun is setting. We were close to the beach for an ice cream and you can even attempt surfing and kayaking in the waves. The perfect getaway. The host Simon is extremely friendly and very helpful and replied to my messages very quickly. I would highly recommend to anyone that needs some time away to destress and relax. Honestly staying here was better than I ever could have imagined and I can’t wait to come back. Also it was super easy to book and I will definitely be using this website again to book our future getaways.

The views were absolutely breath taking and had a great time with the misses.
