Saturday I had breakfast in the cafe it is always exceptional I go in often & the girls are a breathe of fresh air nothing is ever a bother to them.

I then bought 2 fabulous garments in the sale., I llove a genuine sale as rutherfords always is.

Then later in the day I had a coffee n a tasty piece of cheesecake.

There are many regulars who like myself would rate it the best place to eat in morpeth .

The offers at lunch too are fab. Deal on soup n sandwich h or your own choice what could b better….

Absolutely awful customer service!

The team was extremely rude and dismissive. My parcel for delivered to completely different address and they wouldn’t even bother to contact the courier, were dismissive and so rude. Avoid!!!

Enquired about missing order and tracking info (due to my own error). Received a call no more than 15 minutes later with support.

I purchased a jacket from Joules that unfortunately didn’t fit. Sadly by the time I had returned the jacket it was completely out of stock, pretty much everywhere. After lots of searching online I managed to find one left on Rutherford’s website. I was half expecting that to be a stock error considering the popularity of the coat and considering they are one store in Morpeth. However not only did they have it, but they shipped it less than 12 hours after I purchased it on Christmas Eve. It was in my hands on the 28th! Great service all round!

My partner purchased a pair of boots today and I must say the wonderful assistant, Katherine, exceeded all our expectations. She was knowledgeable, courteous, funny and smart .. a credit to the store

I was having a bit of difficulty finding a store, not just an online outlet, where I could try on a new suit. I'm 6'2" with weight to match so I needed to 'try before I buy'.

On line I found Brook Taverner who seemed to have the sizes I could try matched to the pattern and cloth that I was after. BINGO! They had a store not too far from me in Morpeth. I visited them, was met by Tyler who helped me try on different configurations of jacket and trousers sizes.

I narrowed things down to two possible sizes which Tyler ordered in for me to try - no cost, no obligation to buy. Within days they'd arrived, I selected the ones that were a fit but the leg length was a shade too long so Tyler ordered the different sized trousers.

Days later, they arrived and I've just been to try everything together - job done. Sold to the man.
What a great experience it all was, Brook Taverner have a great selection of larger sizes, you can configure everything to suit without commitment or cost, Rutherfords is a great independent store and Tyler made the whole thing so easy and pleasant, she's a credit to her employer.

Whilst Rutherford & Co appear to be a genuine company, it is not the direct, official website for L'Occitane products. Caution recommended
