Our story is a long one.
We decided to put our house on the market and selected a local estate agent in March 2025. As it turned out an unwise choice. 6 months later just 2 viewings which we had to manage but no offers.
We discussed it with the agent and agreed to move to another.

From the timeJo entered the house, followed by the very professional and excellent photographer, then handing over to Tracy. It was so professional, friendly and comforting.
Within 2 weeks of putting it on their site we had an acceptable offer. The viewings were arranged, coordinated and managed by Tracy.
The accepted offer was from a very detailed and sometimes frustrating purchaser but once again Tracy came to the fore and handled it.

Very good service - I can highly reccommend. Our contact person was excellent, kept us well-informed of the developments and was a lovely person.
My only critisism is that the house was initially overpriced and it therefore took longer to sell and at circa 18% less than originally estimated.

We highly recommend Ryder&Dutton in Huddersfield. They were incredibly responsive and patient. As first-time buyers and just moved to this town, we needed to see many properties to find the right one for us. Some estate company ignored our request to view the properties when we requested to see their 3rd properties, but not Ryder&Dutton, we can view as many as we wanted as they knew buying house is not small money so we needed to make sure if the house is right one for us.
