Bought a Lamborghini for out director the sale was so straightforward and simple definitely would buy our next car from SSC cars again

Purchased a BMW i8 from Shaks Specialist, and what a pleasant experience that was. On entry the car was displayed, ready to go, the staff were very friendly and professional at the same time. A small error on the paperwork was amended immediately. There was an unveiling of the car before we drove away which heightened the experience further still. I would recommend this showroom to anyone. 5 stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the perfect review! Thank you Shak, and in particular Jed, who Has dealt with my purchase from start to finish! I’m down in Plymouth and bought my pristine Porsche Macan GTS based on a video walk around. It was driven down on the back of a trailer, and arrived totally unscathed. It wasn’t a cheap purchase and I was putting a lot of faith in a company I knew nothing about. I was not disappointed! Thank you once again to everyone involved, and my wife says thank you for the flowers also… a real personal touch. 😁

We bought an M5 from this dealership and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

The day before we travelled from Kent to Huddersfield to collect the car, the dealership reduced the agreed part-exchange value of our M5 by £8,000. We argued that a deal had already been made and were told that if we had travelled on the day the deal was agreed, they would have honoured the original price. As we still wanted the new M5 and had already committed to the trip, we were forced to swallow the loss.

When we arrived to collect the car, we were told they did not have the V5 log book, meaning we could not tax the vehicle. Despite this, we were assured that the paperwork they provided would be fine if we were stopped by the police — something we now realise we should never have accepted. We then drove away in the car and travelled to Ireland.

When we returned, the log book still had not arrived. After chasing them, we were then told the number plate was incorrect and that a new V5 was being issued. Without our consent, they removed the original plate from the car and replaced it with a different registration because the original plate had the word “FLY” on it.

We waited over a month to finally receive the V5, and the spare key, which was also missing at collection, only arrived last week. The car was purchased on 05/11/2025, and this entire process caused unnecessary stress, delays, and frustration.

I would strongly advise others to think very carefully before dealing with this garage.

I can honestly say that buying my car from Shaks has been the best car buying experience I’ve ever had, friendly, professional service from start to finish. Also a great after sale service. I’ve bought cars from Mercedes and Honda in the past and I can say that the service I received from Shaks was far and above better all round. I’m certain whether you’re buying a super car (which a may say are amazing) or just a more “standard” car, I assume you’ll receive the same level of a brilliant service from these guys.
I bought a Mercedes CLA250e the car is amazing, and coupled with the great service provided, this purchase has been a pleasure from start to finish. I’d like to give a special mention to Khizar who has been a top man, throughout the purchase. It’s refreshing to deal with a car sales person who’s a genuinely good guy.

I have brought and sold cars to Shak but over 10 years anyone that is looking to sell or buy a supercar this is the guy in the company to go to 100%. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy or sell car.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership. I came in after seeing a vehicle listed online, which was described as being in “excellent condition.” When I arrived, the car had visible dents, a chipped windshield, and the check engine light was on during the test drive.

Despite this, the salesperson kept insisting it was “just cosmetic” and tried to pressure me into signing paperwork right away. I asked for a vehicle history report, and they danced around the request, only showing me a vague printout with no real details. At one point, a manager joined in and became visibly annoyed when I asked basic questions about the car’s maintenance history.

The entire process felt shady and dishonest. They clearly prioritize pushing a sale over transparency or customer service. I ended up walking away, and I strongly urge others to do the same. There are too many reputable dealerships out there to waste your time here.

I asked them for a trade in price on my Ferrari 812GTS. The cheapest one currently for sale in the UK is £295k. They suggested £205k. I said that would give them a retail profit of a ridiculous c£90k and that I had other interest around £300k. The salesman pretty much laughed in my face and now guess what, I am right. Suddenly the trade in value has become £270k. They have demonstrated zero knowledge of the market. I don’t think you have a clue what they are doing

Update- the reply from the salesman is interesting. Being "upset" because you made a complete hash of something and the customer is a bit upset is pretty feeble. If you can't get things right, at least get a backbone. The rest of his reply is a rewriting of history a) they had a picture of the spec plate last week and that clearly says it is an 812GTS b) they had photos of the car around lunchtime on Monday. They therefore had more than adequate information before they came up with their valuation at 5pm on Monday. To suggest that they didn't have the necessary information when they came up with £205k is not accurate. What is more, aside from the salesman, apparently his "director" also signed this off- so perhaps not quite the unfortunate error being suggested. I have no issue with a valuation of £270k. The problem is the initial one of £205k. So we have lack of knowledge, lack of attention to detail and being disingenuous. Not really a great combination of "skills".

You only have to see the video of the 2 guys doing a G turn burnout in a G580 reg EA74 UKH. Sad when they treat sales cars like this.

Beware of this unscrupulous dealership. Think carefully before paying a deposit! They sold the car I had put a deposit on to someone else. Then, they tried to sell me other cars at a higher price. When I refused, they kept my deposit, claiming they had done a lot of work.

This is a deceptive practice! Make sure to consider this before giving them any money. Don’t be fooled by their excuses and avoid making the same mistake I did.

I looked into buying a vehicle from this company. They were extremely helpful at the start. I explained I had a little bit of a waiting time to get my money sorted for the vehicle and I was pushed for a deposit after the deposit through no-fault of their own I had to pull out of the deal because I lost a family member to which I explained to them that I would no longer be able to purchase the vehicle this is when the tone changed and the replies became a lot slower because I asked for my deposit back I didn’t think it was unreasonable to request my deposit back after losing a family member I have still been trying to contact them but they just read my messages now

Great service I purchased a vehicle at the weekend not the most flashy one compared to what is in the showroom but the sales team and manager were super helpful and friendly thank you ssc

Wot can I say don’t even think of buying a car please. Had to down size my cars for health reasons taken 3 cars in for 1 car so my wife had a new car to run when Iam not here sorted the 3 cars to a decent deal £1115 k for new one sorted paper work out invalid the the new car gave my wife the keys got all there money and my keys then said after 2 weeks sorting sorry you need to pay £2500 more your three cars now need service or no deal after taking all the cars to the dealership so taken all private plates off no insurance no tax on the cars stuck in Huddesfield with one car insurance but it’s the new one in the showroom no deal wot would you do in that position.
