Solutions 4 Japanese Knotweed (S4JK) only employ experienced Certified Surveyors of Japanese Knotweed (CSJK) to carry out our site surveys and highly trained technicians to carry out our treatments. The team have NPTC, PA1, PA6 and PA6AW qualifications for spraying Japanese Knotweed with herbicide, and also PA6 (INJ) for stem injecting, where spraying cannot be carried out. All our mechanical excavation work is carried out by licensed professionals and comes with a 10 year guarantee as standard. We work with clients, from identification of the problem to the solution and the after-care. Japanese Knotweed has an invasive root system, also known as a Rhizome, which is active all year round even though the stems above the ground die back in the winter. It has incredibly strong growth and can damage concrete foundations, buildings, paving and retaining walls, so it is crucial that remedial help is sought quickly so as to prevent further damage and costs.

Very effective
Provided treatment for two stands of knotweed on either side of a small stream. Due to the proximity of the watercourse, stem injection was used - very effective on the stems treated, but it takes a few rounds before stems in the centre of a large growth area are reachable! A range of treatment plans are offered, including options that satisfy conveyancing requirements.
They turned up as planned.

As nothing was done we must await until september when, hopefully, some positive action takes place.

Honest, professional advice. Spent time discussing the issue offered reassurance and didn't push any treatments that weren't necessary. Definitely happy to recommend. Thankyou!

I would highly recommend S4JK for any Japanese knotweed concerns
Honest and clear
Contacted them regarding suspected Japanese Knotweed in my garden.
They explained their service and treatments clearly, with an initial indictation of cost.
They then scrutinised more photos I sent them, and immediately called back saying I did not actually have Knotweed.
So, very clear and honest.

Gave me free advice after I shared a picture of a weed in my garden. It wasn’t knotweed thankfully
Brilliant quick service.
We were told by a surveyor we had Japanese Knotweed in our garden on a house sale, called S4JK and spoke to a lady called Val.
Val was very informative and knowledgeable about Knotweed and offered a garden inspection with a written report.
Within Two days Val and Dean had arrived, on time and carried out a full walkaround the garden, took photo's and measurements, both were friendly, polite and very professional and within a couple of hours we had the full report on company headed paper sent over via e-mail.
A very prompt professional service I would recommend to anybody and definitely would use again.
Excellent service and friendly staff
After finding a plant that looked very much like Japanese Knotweed in the garden of our newly bought home we were obviously very concerned. We called up S4JK and were greeted by very friendly and sympathetic staff who arranged to come by that same afternoon to investigate for us.
To our relief, they identified that it wasn't Japanese knotweed.
We're so grateful for their quick response, we called at 8:30am and had a result by 1:30pm. I'm not sure we could have coped with the tension for much longer.
Professional & Friendly service
We were in the process of selling a property in the U.K. We are based in France. A potential issue was raised by the surveyor regarding some bamboo in the garden. I contacted S4JK who dealt with it immediately. There communication is excellent, they are professional and friendly. I can highly recommend their service. They managed to turn a stressful situation into an easily resolved one.
Very prompt service
