arrived on time, polite, spoke lots of common sense, did a proper job with no hassle, left it tidy. Excellent will always use them, local too! I was not asked to write this review and have done it off my own bat.

Workman arrived on time, very friendly, got on with job and was finished in about two hours and tided up before leaving. L feel more secure now strong door with top quality lock.

Excellent service. Really pleased with the job and would definitely use again. All goes on trust for me and I’d definitely trust S&S for further home improvements

Didn't turn up when they should've done. Damaged staircase in two places. Didn't finish the sealer off on two of the windows they fitted the 2nd time around. Still waiting from last October for a phone call rung multiple times and left multiple messages but no reply. Still waiting for my receipts and guarantee for both lots of windows fitted - don't think I'll ever recieve them. This company is nothing but a scam. If you use this company, make sure you get your receipt and guarantee plus the windows are perfect before you pay.

They want paying immediately ensure guarantee & receipts are given before but would reccomend a different company instead.

Im an 81 year old lady on my own and I have been treated disrespectfully.

Came out to quote on 23/04/25 for windows and doors. Wanted a 20% deposit but could only do £100.

Rang 01226 805020 and man who answered said Safe and Sound Windows is bust. Tried calling the mobile number of guy who quoted me and answer phone message.

SCAM! DO NOT TRUST!

Do not use, had some windows fitted and 1 of the windows have gone discolored and had a 10yr warranty on it to be told the company you had before had gone bust, but the company is still running the same website and name. Do not go anywhere near them do not trust them. waste of space lost a lot of money on this.
Still waiting on the owner who ever he is , he's gone bust about 3 times to phone me back. So i did a online free quote and guess what had a phone call from them asking what i needed, so i explained and the other person on the phone said i will get him to phone you back, which i said still waiting from last month for him to phone me back. I think i have more chance of becoming the PM then this owner or company to phone me back.
This company needs to be closed down for good and not to be used ever.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! My Dad had a new front door fitted in 2023 with a supposed 10year warranty. Fast forward to this year and double glazing unit has failed, full of condensation in between the glass panels numerous phone calls to actually get someone out to be told "we've just taken over this company so unfortunately your warranty is invalid. They instead wanted to charge a whopping £600 + vat to replace the centre panel!! Absolute daylight robbery!! Also discovered that although advertising as Fensa registered this is actually wrong!!
Had to give one star on the review at unfortunately it doesn't go into minus figures.
I wouldn't let the director run a bath nevermind a company or should I say companies as it's changed names about 5 times in as many years but kept the same phone number. Absolute Cowboys!!!

Mr Ali Hassan Mohammed stood in my home and promised the work would be completed, he lied. Owing me 5,000 pound out of pocket. He has gone into liquidation owing thousands. I don't know how this man can look his family in the face or sleep at night. No doubt he will set up another business using a different name. Shame on him

AVOID AVOID AVOID......I have a few problems with work done in 2022, they don't answer the phone, so e mailed them a couple of times, they are ignoring my e mails.

I just checked with Fensa, and Safe and sound cancelled their Fensa membership in January 2025, make of that what you wish.

I tried calling you on Tuesday at 11.45, the old 01266 805670 obsolete. And 01266 850020 no reply.

We had 6 windows fitted by you in July 2022, Chevins Close, Batley, West Yorkshire
It is a Bay windowed Bungalow.

We had a sealant issue with the rear bedroom, gaps appeared after wards, max maybe 2-3mm in places, both above and below,which i sealed my self, brick dust was falling from a smaller gap above at the time, this window seams ok for now.

The outer front bedroom sealant has never been very good ( white ), and has pealed away from the white rendering. But no water gets near the gap. Ill probably have to re seal it and go graphite grey, the same as the windows.

The main problem, over time is the front Bay window, we have some vertical blinds that close in two sections, at one side the blinds are now touching the window ledge. It seem that the roof above the Bay is lower at one side by around 5mm or more,
I would say the Bay window Roof relies on the Ceiling being level from left to right. It is the Window that supports the ceiling. What method do you use to pack above the windows you have fitted?. If any?, and how do you seal above the windows fitted internally, without access outside due to pre installed soffits. ?.
if there is any packing, shimming internally above the window, it appears not level.

Im not sure if the windows were fitted by a another local Company on your behalf , they have done a good job, but the Bay Window problem has developed.

Please contact me regarding a check on the Bay Window, i take it the Window still has 7.5 years warranty?.

Since writing the review i had a call from the owner of the company ‘Hassan’ promising to rectify my mis match handles and contact me the following day to arrange the fitting of the window i paid a deposit for. This never materialised. They took my deposit and disappeared. I have since found out that they are NOT FENSA registered as they say they are on the website. This is a lie. They have since folded and are not trading under OrderDoorsOnline. Avoid them, they are scammers and cowboys

Had a quote in March for the whole house of windows to be replaced (11 windows!) which i was told was valid for a year and i could get them fitted throughout the year to help with the cost. since then, i have had 2 windows fitted in the same room on the same wall- with miss match handles, one chrome, one white! i have been waiting since August for them to sort that out with promise after promise. I have paid the deposit for the 3rd window in September and heard nothing since. after several promises to call me back, im still waiting now in November and no one will answer my call. I have had easily 15 calls from the sales team trying to push me into a quote for the remaining windows, which i already have and is in date. absolute shambles

Just so people are aware I contacted the GGF today regarding this company as they claim to be a registered with the GGF and FENSA - this is a lie. Confirmed by the GGF they are false advertising and are not FENSA approved either - the registration they show on the website is invalid! False advertising at its finest! WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The 3 guys, Liam,Steve and James that came to fit my soffit and facias were great. Very friendly, polite hard working cleaned up after themselves. My soffits and facias look amazing. Thank you J Clarke.

I've had a quotation for 3 windows in August and the sales guy pressured me to sign it then with the promise that in 2 weeks the windows will be ready. We are now over 2 months and nothing: no windows, just promises. Today is the sencond time when I am altering the schedule to be home for windows ftting and they don't even have the minimum curtesy to call and inform these are still not ready.

One visit a year ago to view the job. Helpful but no contact since then despite 3 phone calls and speaking to 2 different people who promised to ring back. I would like some good manners in that if you cannot do a job it would be polite to telephone the customer and explain that you cannot do the job so they can get someone else.

Door stepped by Safe and Sound windows. Their representative was full of it, enthusing about having new windows and doors installed. I listened then politely declined. He did not take no for an answer and was reluctant to leave. When more pointedly requested to leave he became rude, and abusive.

These are really a good genuine and fairly priced company. We are so glad we went with the quote provided by Safe and Sound Windows. We had our full house replaced with new UPVC windows and doors, and they look lovely! The difference from the new windows with the heat retention within the home and the soundproofing of the window is incredible.
Great service from start to finish. A great team of people looked after our every requirement throughout our experience, We really can not praise each and every one of the guys who made this process run so smoothly.
We are so happy with the work that has been carried out. The windows are of excellent quality and have been installed perfectly. All areas were left clean and tidy once the fitting of each window had been completed.
I have used Safe Style in the past and had a really bad experience with them, so I was a little dubious about what to expect, but these have restored my faith in good workmanship and customer service. My neighbour even popped round to look at the finished results and was that impressed she's now having all her windows and doors replaced by them.
If you're looking for good quality doors and windows at a resonable price, then these are your guys, and with the scrappage offer on at the minute, it's a great opportunity to receive a even better discounted price.

just had a new glass conservatory roof and composite front door fitted.... the fitters were really great lads and worked non stop through bad weather....Hassan kept in touch all through the process we just needed a new light fitting in the conservatory phoned Hassan and within 90 mins the electricians turned and fitted it

Quickly scheduled, great lads on the team, got rid of all the rubbish - windows look great with just a small amount of render to paint when it settles

We had a door fitted by this firm today and can't thank them enough.Craig & Mark are two lovely guys.They did a fantastic job,were both very polite & pleasant & cleaned up well after themselves.I even had a laugh & a joke on the phone with the owner of the firm.Another friendly guy. Thank you everyone Gill & Dave.
