I ordered these straps as backup straps for a level iiia vest. The straps are priced correctly. I know Velcro wears out, but I also wanted a 3rd strap to make sure the side protection stays in place. The straps provided with the vest I ordered worked perfectly and are made with quality material and workmanship. As an FYI, I also ordered the tactical side straps with additional armor as a means of stepping up side protection.
