I've been wearing it for a week now and it's holding up just fine. You'll definitely want to wear a shirt under it. The mesh is a little scratchy. On that note, my biggest complaint is the mesh on the shoulder straps tends to rub the side of my neck. Overall 4/5 would recommend.

This vest is awesome. I love it for work and personal use. The only trick is getting it fitted having someone help would be nice to fit it once you have received it. But I was able to get it fitted just fine by myself at home. The vest is very comfortable and form fitting.

Quite possibly the best made body armor I’ve ever worn. Top quality manufacturing in every aspect of construction. The sizing chart helped me get the perfect size. The thing looks damn sharp as well. (Even though it fits under a duty shirt perfectly.)

I have had this vest for about 30 days now. I wear it during my commute on public transportation (BART: Bay Area Rapid Transit). It took some getting used to at first, but now I'm used to the feel. I was surprised at how much it retains heat, as I get really hot wearing it. If it's too hot, I won't wear it, mainly because I wear a jacket over the vest to conceal it and it just isn't feasible from a cooling-down perspective. I have a new-found respect for officers and military personnel who have to wear a vest all of the time regardless of the temperature. While I do feel slightly more secure wearing this vest, I must admit I am a bit bummed that the vest doesn't cover more of my lower area. I am tall with a medium/small build and a long torso (6'2", 155 lbs). The vest covers my upper body okay, but only goes as low as to where my ribcage ends. This leaves most of my stomach area exposed. I'm wondering if there are vests that have the same general size fit but are a few inches longer to reach my belt area? Other than a fit issue, I am happy with this vest. It is relatively lite and flexible, as well at a decent fit (I like all of the velcro straps to really dial in the fit). The most important aspect though is that I feel SLIGHTLY safer while being exposed and vulnerable on an unsafe public transportation system. So in that regard, it's worth it.

Got my vest much later than anticipated but, it is comfortable, a perfect fit right out box. Its lighter than my old vest. I hope I never get to see if it holds up to its standards but, love the concealablity of it. Maybe summer time will be better with this one.
