Excellent fit and weight. Velcro is strong and adjustable. It keeps me safe as well as improves my posture and keeps my back straight. Didn’t expect that but it’s been a bonus.

I've been using a standard Safe Life IIIA concealable vest for the past three years. The new Hyper line is incredibly light weight, conceals much better under my uniform polos, and is molding to my body, unlike the original body armor that was just as flat when it came off as it was when it came out of the box. My only complaint with the Hyperline is that Safe Life switched from velcro to zippers to access the armor panels in the vest. The zipper pulls are EXTREMELY uncomfortable to me, even with wearing a tshirt under the vest. Really wish they would have reconsidered this change. I'm sure the velcro would add a few ounces to the overall weight, but the zipper pulls are just down right painful. Been trying to come up with a solution, will probably cover the pulls with a piece of heavy duct tape just to relieve some of the pressure.

Most comfortable armor I've worn. Feels like the protection of a thin plate but with the flexibility of soft kevlar. Not quite as concealable as advertised but that might be a sizing issue. I would recommend going a size smaller if concealment is your goal. Overall this armor is much more comfortable and causes less perspiration than my previous soft armor vest.

Overall I’m happy with the Hyperline series vest. I wasn’t expecting it to be so stiff. I purchased the original IIIA vest in 2020 and it’s more flexible. After a while the vest does mold to you. I’d like to see a more flexible armor combined with the low profile vest in the future
