Upgrading from the Premier Executive vest I was worried the Safe Life would be too thick to keep wearing my old over shirts. The vest is only slightly bigger around so this wasn’t an issue. It also has a few more inches of coverage, which does suck for having to bend over but more coverage is more coverage. Even with the iiia+ panels getting a slightly upsized button down takes care of business for work. The only downside that stands out is the lack of overlap on the sides and minor chafing from mesh along the neck. However, as the carrier and plates have broken in more it’s become much more comfortable.
