The south panels are lightweight curved to your body and are very efficient. I also like how they have side protection our staff proof and/proof as well as can withstand of a variety of small Arms fire

Fits in the safelife outer carrier very well and does offer side protection. I’m also a skinny 5’11” 185lbs so the sides of the panels overlap. If I was more round for a lack of better words there wouldn’t be as much side protection. Can’t comment on the actual performance and hopefully never got shot to find out.
