Definitely worth the price. I love the vest, the only thing i wish, or would change, is putting molle on the sides where the velcro straps are. As a smaller female I don't get a lot of space with molle.

When I purchased the vest I was told by the representative that it can go under my shirt while it fits under my shirt the only problem is the front of the vest makes me look bigger than I am. This is a vest in my opinion to wear outside of a uniform, not under, if I could I would have bought one for under the uniform. Ask a lot of questions before buying.

Thank you for your feedback on our Safe Life Defense Tactical Carrier! This is designed to be worn on the outside however with a heavier jacket it can be concealed. We do sell just the concealable carrier on our website if you'd like th eoption of using your panels both ways!
I love that this plate carrier has soft armor and front rear plate pockets. I have more room on this carrier than I have had with other products. All of my accessories fit without any trouble. The front rear customizable Velcro tags were a great bonus I’m happy I don’t have to order those.

The quality is top notch. However, I do have a big issue with one thing. Certain sizes doesn't allow for 10x12 rifle plates, and these are sizes larger than XS as advertised on the rifle plates page. I got a large-short and they designed them to only house 8x10, front and rear. I put the rifle plates in the same compartment as the soft body armor, and there's more than ample room, so I don't get it. They need to stop misleading people with inaccurate rifle plate information. The extra two inches of rifle plates is a big deal to me. I already have the 10x12 plates I use in an older SLD vest. It's sad they weren't even sorry about it. I'll likely be returning this vest unless they offer a steep discount on new plates for those impacted by the misinformation. They seriously need to update the rifle plate page by having the consumer select the type of vest and size to better reflect the proper plate sizes as this would help avoid a lot of confusion.
