The BFR cuffs worked well for maybe a year- customer service does not stand by the product for any long term use
As a sports physical therapist who regularly incorporates blood flow restriction (BFR) training into rehabilitation and performance protocols, I had high expectations for the Saga BFR cuffs. For the first year of intermittent use, they performed reliably, delivering consistent pressure and stable connectivity during sessions.
After approximately one year, however, I began experiencing recurring Bluetooth connectivity issues. At the company’s recommendation, I performed a hard factory reset, but the problems persisted. Subsequent outreach for technical support yielded no meaningful resolution or path forward.
With use mostly limited to roughly every 2–3 weeks on a healthy individual and without heavy loading, the cuffs became increasingly unreliable. Sessions were frequently interrupted after only one or two sets due to connection instability. Most recently, one cuff has lost the ability to maintain consistent pressure, rendering it unusable for safe and effective BFR application.
While the cuffs initially met clinical expectations, the limited long-term durability and lack of responsive post-purchase support have been disappointing for equipment positioned for professional and repeated training use. Improved reliability and customer support would be necessary before I could recommend them to colleagues or patients.
