Saints & Slimmers 

The last time I tried a vlcd was about ten years ago and i'm really impressed at the improvements in the products.
They're a lot more tasty than they used to be and the meals ( spag bol, veg chilli and cottage pie ) are fantastic, especially now it's winter.
I searched around online when I decided to start this diet again and there is a fair choice of companies to chose from, Saints and Slimmers are brilliant, excellent quality products, loads to choose from, delivery is fast, there's online support if you want it.
Saints and slimmers are also very reasonably priced with loads of offers.
All in all an excellent choice, especially if you're not keen on paying anything up to about £80 a week for the same thing elsewhere!

Saints and slimmers had been the first diet I have successfully lost weight on! Im not overweight but was getting close so needed a good kick start to a diet. I tried the 600 cal VLCD and have only been on it for 10 days but have lost 9 pounds so far! I know that the beginning weight loss is always water but still, its not all water! I also think the food is delicious too. I especially like the veg chilli, cottage pie and the meal bars. Not so keen on the saintly shakes in he blue packets. I think its just a taste preference. But I do like the 100% natural meal shakes. I also dont like ths tomato soup, but at least I know for next time! The cost is also low compared to other diet plans too (the initial reason I went for them). Definitely a good choice to go with saints and slimmers.

Made an order and got my items as scheduled, packaging looking worse for wear. Then to my utter surprise found that the BBE dates on the bars (60 in number) I received had passed. Contacted customer service and was told they couldn't exchange them because they didn't have any bars that the BBE dates hadn't passed. Which for me was very demeaning, it was more like I was being used as a dustbin to get rid of old stock. Also customer service claimed that they had a new caveat on their website that said that products could be used after the BBE date. I searched the website but never found it. I really don't need a response from S&S because it won't make any difference to the fact that they have made up their mind to sending products that have passed their BBE dates to paying customers all in a bid not to record a loss. What if I take ill as a result will their caveat stand in court?

I am very happy with S & S but I had a problem with my orderunfortunately it's not the first time. Didn't complain because they just got the flavours wrong .

I am so pleased with the products that I bought, especially the meal packs.

My first order with Saints and Slimmers has left a bad taste in my mouth. Although customer service reps were nice enough they don't have the power to actually solve any issues.

* Placed an order at 11pm on Wednesday. No confirmation of order received via email nor any confirmation of order on 'My Account'.
* Called on Thursday Morning, received an apology, order manually added to the account and advised it would still arrive on Friday as planned.
* Contacted by Yodel on Friday advising me that they couldn't find the address. I then contacted Yodel and was informed that the address on the Label was incomplete / inaccurate and therefore would be returned to the sender.
* Contacted Saints and Slimmers they insisted the label was correct and that delivery would still take place.
* No delivery ever arrived.
* Contacted Saints and Slimmers again requesting a refund. Request denied as 'they need the items back'. Explained what had happened - advised to wait until monday.

At the time of writing I am £97 out of pocket with no products to show for it. Utterly unacceptable.

I will be approaching my Bank on Monday with a fraud claim.

My Advise? AVOID this company at all costs.

I tried to order on line but it would not take me to the check out.
I called and a lady completed my order for me and charge me £4.50 for next day delivery
My kitchen is being refurbished so I thought id use this time to go on the crash low cal diet as I have no cooker or fridge for three weeks.
The parcel failed to arrive
I called S&S she said she would send another, not charge me postage and discount my next order by a ‘generous’ 10 % (£3.00) what a joke !!!!!
Guess what ? that failed to arrive as well
I have mailed Saints and slimmers constantly no one has replied
No one has refunded me and not one calorie has arrived at my doorstep in the two weeks and two days since I ordered
I am so upset as when my kitchen is complete I wont be eating packaged food.
It has been so hard dieting with no fridge or cooker
Saints and slimmers have totally failed me I am deeply upset

Just what I needed to get me started on a lower calorie intake. Tastes great and one of the better diet meal replacement I have tasted. Highly recommend.

Really lovely intense flavours the chocolate is good and strong flavoured.

There is masses of choice for sweet and savoury, personally I prefer the savoury options as the sweet ones have a sweetner taste about them....making them taste a little "artificial" however they are pleasant enough. There is even some savoury meal options that give even further choice.
A tip is to use a blender to mix the shakes and soups as they tend not mix properly in a shaker, the meals I put more water in in and cooked in the microwave a little longer and they went a little further and were nicer to eat.
The berries and yoghurt bars are the nicest from the range and the ready made shakes are great for when you are on the move - have been particulary great for me as I travel with my work, overall good value and taste nice. If I could change anything it would be to make the sweet shakes not as sweet....just personal taste

Love these products, they have made it possible for me to lose weight when do other diet worked.

I will always have a stash of Saints and Slimmers in my cupboard for when i may have slipped off the rails a little bit and need to lose a few pounds quickly!!

Great price for a meal replacement diet. Customer service and delivery is second to none. Was a bit dissapointed that most of the meal replacement bars have a use by date of the end of the month that I bought them it (although, if I use them all, this isn't a problem).
The products themselves are palatable, however I wouldn't go as far to say that I've really enjoyed any of them. The porridge (strawberry jam) and breakfast muffins were the nearest to 'normal' food and pretty good for this kind of thing.
I just don't think this is the diet for me. It's not a critisism, as I think that as meal replacement diets go, Saints & Slimmers is a cost effective and affordable option - I've tried the others, and it's probably the best out of all of them.

Easy to order online, shakes, soups, bars and meals taste fab. Very fast free delivery, cant fault this company one bit !

Ordered the 28 day pack which arrived within a couple of days. I was pleased with the ability to choose 84 items of my choice and chose a few options to prevent boredom and as a test really as I intend to go 3 months on the diet.

I'm very happy with the premixed shakes which are great as I travel a lot and I didn't want the hassle of mixing etc. The meals are ok, I was expecting a 'ready meal' but they are dried sachets which you mix with water and microwave. Spag Bol and veg chilli are nice cottage pie is palatable but resembles mush.
The bars are handy but I will be reducing the number I order next time as they are not as nice as the other products.

4 days in and I've lost a few pounds , not struggling at all although I did Cambridge before and new what to expect, training yourself to drink so much water takes a day or two.

The entire process from ordering the products through to the delivery of the items was quick and efficient. The entire service was excellent.

I absolutely love the porridge! I like the fact that I don't have to put it in a microwave just need hot water and my breakfast is sorted. Give me more time to fuss over my baby's breakfast. Alhough I love the chocolate muffins won't be ordering them again I physically have to stop myself from eating another one. Put them on a high shelve otherwise I'll be having 2 at a time. Diet is good so far so I'm ordering more porridge tomorrow before I run out. I'll try banana as well this time. Thanks for the speedy delivery too!

Was a bit sceptical about the low caliber diet meals thought I would be hungry and craving chocolate like I usually do when trying to diet but actually feel ok and am pleased after a week to see the scales shifting will carry on fit 2nore weeks and see of they are still moving

It's probably a bit unfair to give a review so soon after starting the program. But i can comment on the products i have used so far.
I have a BMI over 40 so I was put on the 1200 kcal a day plan.
I received my 2 boxes very quickly, within 3 days. I was notified by the courier in advance of the hour my order would be delivered. So I made sure someone was home to receive it.
I chose to have muffin for breakfast, cereal bar or pretzel for my 2 snacks, heavenly milkshakes for lunch and various recipe dishes for my dinners.
I have no complaints about the quality and taste of the products. A lot better ( and cheaper) than Diet Chef, Go, and lighter life
My problem is the feeling of hunger. I'm eating the main meal at lunch time and feeling extremely hungry again by 6pm. So i cook the family meal and have it without the carbs. My evening meal takes me over 1600 kcals a day.
I've emailed support and am awaiting response on what to do. I emailed their expert, Charlotte and got no response. So can't comment on customer support as yet.
So I'll give a 7/10 for food. 9/10 for delivery. Effectiveness of diet , too early to comment and customer support, too early to comment but not great from expert.

The expeience of buying onlline was fine with no issues.
However I am disappointed in the quality of the food. The main dishes have 4-5 very small pieces of chicken and the rest is sauce?? I know this is my fault for not checking before hand but 12g of sugar in milkshakes and 15g fat in one main dish??
I know I will not be trying this again. Shame as its the only halal diet food place I have found. Sorry

Saints and slimmers are brilliant. It works and its not overly expensive. When you have quite a bit of weight to lose the task can seem impossible. With a vlcd like this you can get the first couple of stone out of the way quickly. Some of the food tastes a bit bland but everyone has diff taste anyway. I will put my peanut choc bars in the freezer. I use a little of my vanilla milkshake to whiten my tea. You may read a few reviews on here about bad customer service but I have to say I have received brilliant customer service. I called about a short delivery and was offered satisfactory outcome and an apology within minutes. Saints and slimmers have helped me lose over two and a half stone and I will definatly carry on using the products to help me sustain my weight.
