Thinking the days of pay were over, Salad surprised me with rentals that quickly earned. Salad also pays in cash which means they perform the exchange for me. Imagine trying to swap a different coin with no availability. I must admit, coping with the recent updates was a pain, but that's also what kick started my rigs. Thanks

Earnings on Salad can fluctuate based on network demand, the types of jobs available for your hardware, and how optimized your setup is for GPU Container Jobs. Backup crypto mining tends to have lower pay outs, while higher-demand Container Jobs usually deliver stronger returns. Electricity rates also play a big role, especially depending on where you’re located. In demand hardware and free electricity is where Salad really shines for our Chefs, but even if that isn't you there's still earnings on the table for you to get in on.
We’d recommend checking the Network Monitor to see current demand for your GPU, making sure all workload types are enabled in Settings, and confirming there’s no power limiting active. Running when demand is Moderate or High can make a noticeable difference, and you can even setup Demand Alerts to be notified when your hardware is being sought after.

Super easy to use and doesn't use much power
Recently upgraded to a 5080 and have been using Salad way more frequently, its so easy to use that I dont care if hourly rate is a bit lower than others, I click a button and it starts using my pc. If I want to play something or need the VRAM, I click another button and it turns off, when off it completely stops using the GPU, there's been other reviews saying issues with redeeming, but every time I've redeemed something it has always worked

In most cases, withdrawal issues come down to region mismatches on rewards, incomplete checkout steps, or something in that area. We don’t hold balances back, and if a reward isn’t processing correctly, there’s usually a clear reason we can identify quickly once we look at the account details.

When Salad falls back to mining, that just means there aren’t GPU Container Jobs available for your hardware at that moment. Backup crypto mining keeps you earning, but Container Jobs are usually the higher-paying workloads and are assigned based on network demand, hardware specs, and overall reliability.
As for a secret 24/7 bonus button, we like the ambition, there isn’t a manual “extra price” switch. That said, Chefs who Chop consistently and rack up solid uptime can reach Star Chef status, which prioritizes them for higher-paying jobs when demand is strong. So steady Chopping does help over time.
Make sure all workload types are enabled, and keep an eye on demand levels in the Network Monitor to see when better-paying jobs are active.
