I have been coming to Salon on the Square for over 7 years for my hair, beauty treatments, Caci and massage. I have always received outstanding service with a quality of care you would normally expect to receive in a London or city salon.
The salon is very well managed and with the exception of new juniors training has the same staff as when I first started going which I think says something in itself.
My husband is very ill and the support and care I receive from the staff make my visits there special, like an oasis where I can escape for an hour or so. They go the extra mile to make it a friendly and personal experience. I know my neighbours and friends feel exactly the same and many travel some distance to use their services. Highly recommended in all ways.

I had a great experience at this salon! Poppy was friendly, professional, and really listened to what I wanted. They took their time, paid attention to detail, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. I absolutely love how my hair turned out it looks and feels amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy hairdresser.
I also had my nails done, and they were just as fantastic neat, precise, and exactly what I asked for. Everything was done to a really high standard. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for great hair and nails.

The salon called to ask me to get to my appointment early with Arun at 10.50 for my 11.00 appointment. I did this no problem. But Arun was not ready for me until just after my original time. With no explanation, he then rushed my cut and did not do his usual job. At 11.15 his next customer arrived and I was ushered out of the chair after just 13 minutes. I felt shabbily treated by the Salon on the Square.

From the moment of arriving to smiley faces to the end of a straightening treatment I loved every moment. I was so well looked after . I had booked my treatment with a trainee as it would be half price and she was great with lots of staff on hand for advice. Thank you so much x

If I could leave a 10 I would. Salon on the Square provide a London salon experience in terms of quality and skill/experience of the team, along with a community approach.

Having been diagnosed with breast cancer and undergone two surgeries that meant I could not wash or style my hair for 4 weeks. They immediately offered regular wash and dries for the period I could not look after my hair myself.

They also provided expert advice on preparing for and getting through the impact of Chemotherapy on hair loss. All with smiles, hugs, pampering and humour which makes you feel very special and is an oasis of love to draw on.

I cannot say thank you enough.

I had the best haircut at Salon on the Square today and have come away feeling really pampered, just in time for the weekend! Janemarie and all the staff at this salon are so lovely - and I felt so welcomed from the moment I walked in. I was greeted with a gorgeous coffee and magazine selection while Janemarie got to work on my thick, unruly hair! She really listened to what I wanted and I am so so happy with the results!

I even managed to get my nails done while my colour was setting - I opted for the OPI gel nails which were done really professionally and quickly by Lucy - I can already tell they will last for ages.

I also had a gorgeous head massage whilst having my hair washed ! I could have fallen asleep, it was so relaxing.

My son Charlie was with me today, too - he visited the barber Aaron. Aaron was amazing with my 11 year old. He came to ask me what I wanted for him and then took him off next door, making him laugh and putting him at ease. The haircut is his best to date, he looks so dapper and is really really happy with the results.

I also have to say that the Aveda hair products they use in this salon smell absolutely delicious and I can't stop smelling my new hair!

Big 10/10 all round from me - I am already looking forward to my next visit. Big thank you to Janemarie and all of the salon team from myself and Charlie.

Not just a brilliant cut and blow dry, from Janemarie but a soothing neck and shoulder massage (included in the price) and the best cappucino I’ve had in a hairdressers ever. Felt very pampered.

This was my first visit to the salon, I went in for a trim and felt so pampered, lovely trim, blow dry and styled, I would highly recommend this salon.
