Absolute garbage service. Salt has mastered the art of trapping you in a contract and making it a Herculean task to escape. I signed up for a simple ABo package for my daughter's smartwatch, a seemingly straightforward 14.99/month "Start Max" plan. What I got was a two-year sentence.
The overcharging for such a basic service is bad enough, but it's the cancellation process that is truly scandalous. I was not even allowed to schedule a cancellation until a mere three months before the contract's expiry. This is a transparent tactic to make you forget or miss the window.
When I finally did call to cancel, it was a test of my patience. The line dropped not once, but twice, forcing me to start over with a new agent each time. After being put on hold, transferred, and interrogated, it took me a staggering 40 minutes just to cancel a single, small contract. Forty minutes of my life wasted just to get out of their clutches.
Salt's business model seems to be built on frustration and obfuscation. They make everything easy on the way in and impossibly difficult on the way out. Avoid them at all costs unless you enjoy being held hostage by your mobile provider. This experience has been beyond infuriating.

After many years with this company i can assure you that this is the worst mobile provider in CH. They will always try to find a way to overcharge you for whatever reason. Very sharky behavior to milk money away from their customers. Happy I left.
NOT RECOMMENDED!

SALT gets everyone stuck with the 24 months contracts and do not even have the best Packages and services.
Have been a client but totally regret now. To terminate the contract they require full payment... that is so crazy nowadays.
Look for SWYPE or DIGITAL REPUBLIC.
Thank me later.

Please do not use this service.
I terminated my contract on 24 January 2025, effective 25 August 2025, because Salt is simply more expensive than other providers.
During this time, I was called 5 times by Salt salespeople, despite explicitly requesting not to be contacted again.
Now, on 3 September 2025, I discover that Salt never cancelled my contract – instead, they just removed my discount (???). The idea that I supposedly wanted to cancel only my discount but not the entire contract is a level of incompetence that leaves me in disbelief.
Do yourself a favor and do not fall into the Salt trap.

I would never recommend Salt, no matter how attractive their cheap deals may look. I had been with them for several years on a very basic, low-cost plan, and things seemed fine — as long as I was extremely careful that they wouldn’t “accidentally” upgrade me.
The nightmare started when I decided to change provider. I called to inform them, and was told (unfortunately, only by phone, so no written proof) that all I had to do was set up the switch with my new provider and keep paying until the end of my contract — three months, which I was fine with.
Instead, the day my contract ended, Salt automatically upgraded me to a much more expensive deal. When I reached out, they claimed they had “never received the information” from the new provider, so they just assumed I was staying with them, and “helpfully” upgraded me.
As if that wasn’t outrageous enough, once my new provider tried again to send the confirmation, Salt slapped me with a penalty for abrupt interruption of contract. In the end, their shady system forced me to pay for more than a year extra.
This is not a company you can trust. Their entire process is designed to profit from people leaving them, with unclear communication and manipulative practices. Do yourself a favor: avoid Salt at all costs, no matter how cheap they seem.

I have been a subscriber for 2 years, and their service is unprofessional, they have unprofessional employees, with an inappropriate vocabulary. Everything is fake and the bill is never the same, They don't even introduce themselves as who they are. If you want to avoid problems, avoid SALT

Thief's, avoid them! They change the subscription payments and you have to pay because you subscribe always for two years. If you loose you smartwatch and you need a new e-sim bingo you pay and pay. If you are not careful the subscription will be renewed, just run if you see this company.

When customer experience has a bad taste !!! Stepped into the salt store at Bahnhofstrasse for a subscription that needed to be active on September 1 before I move to Zurich . The shop manager was my first contact - the response was easy don’t worry - saw the person typing in the wrong activation date - kindly made him the remark - the response was don’t worry even asked for a speedy activation- when I received the confirmation 15 min it said activation on September 16 ! Wrote them immediately the response was what are you taking about !! Went to the shop the day after to see how we could find a solution - response we are working on it - 48 h later still no solution . Moral of the story thw contract was made in less then 5 min but they can’t guarantee any correct service neither admitting the mistake they made !

Cheaters and thieves. My mother purchased a sim for 1 month while she was in Switzerland. After that they kept her subscription alive, and when they asked her for money she wrote to cancel the subscription. However, they kept it alive for months at exorbitant prices, and now they say she owes almost 1000 CHF even though she used their service for just two weeks in total.
They should be ashamed of themselves.

Don't go there...in n around lake leman the salt internet is so bad that you can't even watch 10 seconds of streaming, a shame n when you call'em, they tell you that actually it looks like nothing can be done the antenna is full in my area...which is Lausanne, Montreux, vevey n all around...this is postmobile with salt as provider...run away from that crap n save ur self some time. Bye the way i did the same test with my work phone n the speed is just 10 times better...uncredible..
The fastest way to reach Salt service is writing reviews in Trustpilot, therefore I write here in hope that one day there will be an improvement in their services and CX. I doubt it, but lets see.
This time I discovered that they make it difficult for you to pay the monthly bill when its about to pay on time and very easy after they charge you 30 CHF late fee + additional instant payment fee. Nice for your profits Salt but surely not customer friendly!

I was a loyal Salt customer for over 8 years.
Last year, I had to leave Switzerland involuntarily because my residence permit expired. I immediately contacted Salt to ask if I could freeze or downgrade my subscription while abroad, but no real solution was offered.
As a result, I paid CHF 29.95 every month for almost a year without using the service at all. Now, despite this, Salt still asked me to either pay until my contract ends or pay an early termination fee — even after providing proof I had left the country.
I find it deeply disappointing that long-standing customers are treated this way. This experience has convinced me not to return to Salt in the future, and I cannot recommend them to friends or colleagues.

They simply play tricks when you want to get out of their contract. it is taking me 5 months to get out even after my contract has run out. They make you take loops and hoops in their technicalities. Very bad customer service, will not recommend it to anyone.

No signal anywhere, Live in a major city and still can’t get stable signal.
Internet slower than promised.
Good price but the coverage is really average across the country. Support is non-existent and tries everything they can to string you along.
They'll do everything they can to lure you in. If you get in i hope you'll have no issues or it's gonna be really tiring to deal with them.
Go to a Salt Store if needed and speak about your problems in front of the potential clients. That's what i had to do to solve my issue because by phone they would mock you if they could.
The seller proposed to me to move from Sunrise to Salt with a package internet, mobile and fix phone.
He pretended that I will save more than 100 CHF per month. At the end I pay more than with Sunrise. This is an arnaque
I would give 0 stars if I could.
Terrible customer service. Instead of listening to your concerns and requests, the staff seems trained only to push sales. A Salt representative gave me an offer over the phone, only for me to later find out that the product she described was not what I actually received.
It’s extremely tedious to reach a competent agent who can genuinely help. I’ve wasted hours trying to explain my situation—only to catch them contradicting themselves or giving misleading information.
I strongly request that a higher-level representative contact me to resolve this issue.
Don’t fall for their lucrative offers. It’s not worth your time, money and sanity.
