Samantha Pretto Make-Up + Hair Reviews 

Hiring Samantha Pretto for my bridal hair and make up was by far the best decision I made for my wedding!! She truly made me look the most beautiful I have ever felt, and I am extremely picky when it comes to hair and make-up. I am an Asian American based in San Francisco, and we were planning our destination wedding in Lake Como, Italy. Samantha made me look and feel BEAUTIFUL. She masterfully enhances your natural beauty without overdoing it. She uses amazing brands and products and I loved the natural lip balm she makes. She can do anything - flowy romantic waves, fun party ponytail, etc. In terms of planning and logistics, she was extremely professional - super responsive, provided really reasonable prices (by far one of the more reasonable vendors compared to all the other Lake Como vendors we contacted), and she was very flexible in terms of meeting me for a trial beforehand. The fact that she was so responsive (would usually get an email reply within a couple days) speaks volumes; many of the other vendors I worked with in Italy took weeks to respond. Samantha went above and beyond on the day of the wedding, even helping me take iphone photos, stayed way later on the night of than I expected, providing multiple touch-ups throughout the evening. She felt more like a friend at the wedding, and was a source of comfort throughout our wedding festivities. My bridesmaids (all based in the US) all lamented how if Samantha were based in the US they'd 100% hire her to be their hair & make up artist too. She truly is an absolute gem to work with!!

Samantha is absolutely amazing and a total gem. She is not only a talented makeup artist but also the sweetest and wants you to shine on your wedding day. Planning a destination wedding is no easy feat, especially if you can't do a trial beforehand. I voiced some concerns- mine was regarding my eyes- and she listened attentively and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy throughout the whole process. Her team is so talented and professional, and I am so glad I chose her as my makeup artist. Thank you so much Samantha!

Her website is full of all the detailed needs that will be necessary for any special event. Her quick communication and commitment to work with me and my family/friends on my wedding day made it a no brain-er to hire her.
During both my makeup & hair trial and my wedding day, I had the best time with Samantha. She and her team are full of plenty of energy, wonderful stories, and she took all of my glamour requests and brought them to life. I can honestly say that having Samantha in the room while I was getting ready for my wedding put me at ease. She is a joy to be around and I am so happy that I gained a friend through the entire experience. 100% would recommend her and her team to anyone looking to get married abroad.
