I had a great experience with Dr. Samet Yardımcı for my sleeve gastrectomy. He was professional, kind, patient, and very thorough, always taking the time to explain everything clearly and make sure I felt comfortable.

He took my health very seriously and explored every possible explanation for my symptoms through careful testing. He was detail oriented and ultimately correct about the cause, which gave me a lot of confidence in his care.

My surgery and recovery went very well. The pain after surgery was low and manageable, and I was able to return to my day to day life quickly. He was attentive throughout recovery and helped me manage any discomfort.

I also want to highlight Mevce the coordinator, who was absolutely incredible. From the beginning, she was professional and supportive. All planning was smooth, and she answered all my questions and concerns quickly and clearly. When I met her in person, she was very friendly, kind, and welcoming. She truly helped comfort me before surgery. I was grateful to have her throughout my recovery and even after.

The doctor assistant Hasret, the dietitian Ebru , nurses, and all staff members were also amazing. The dietitian still communicates with me to this day and following up with me. Everyone was caring, attentive, professional, and they made me feel supported every step of the way.

I am very thankful for the care I received and would highly recommend this team to anyone considering sleeve gastrectomy.

Dr. Samet and his team was amaaaaazing!!!. I felt safe and at ease from the start. All the nurses, the dietician, even the young man who completed my registration was kind. I am so glad I chose Dr. Samet, he is just amazing. I can't wait to see my future results...

I’m incredibly grateful for Hasret, Mevce, Dr Samet and Ebru for the humble care, kindness and reassurance they showed me. Every question even if it’s small, they would answer it. Every interaction felt warm, calm and genuinely supportive, and I never once felt rushed or overlooked. The team went above and beyond in ways that really mattered to me on a personal level - including helping me find my shoes when I nearly lost them, which meant more than they probably realised. I felt truly seen, supported and cared for as a person throughout, and I’ll always be thankful for the compassion and dedication shown by everyone.

What a special bunch of people! Dr Samet is an absolute darling and even held my arm while we walked and talked. My surgery was a little more complicated due to previous abdominal surgeries, I never once doubted this man’s abilities. He was very clear and concise with expectations and my recovery. Mevce is the nicest person to deal with and is such a saint. She was super organised and had everything running aeamlessly. It was a huge weight off my shoulders having come from New Zealand with no support person.
The state of the art hospital was so clean and comfortable and all of the staff down to the cleaners were so loving and kind. A big shout out to my night nurse Esta who got me at my worst! Thank you to every single person who was involved in my treatment.

Best hospital I’ve ever been at the nurses was very sweet and helpful very professional Dr Samet was very sweet the day I met him he made me feel at ease and he took my hand and spoke to me made me feel less anxious so grateful to have done my gastric sleeve with Dr Samet the coordinator Mevce was also very nice and till up today I’m still chatting to her and she always replies if I need any thing 🤍

The reassurance and professionalism, all the questions and support given pre-op and after care have been outstanding, the staff were so lovely and if any difficulties in understanding each other we just used translator on our phones. Dr Samet just made you feel so at ease and explained everything in terms that you’d understand and can speak perfect English. I can not recommend this lovely man enough.

I am from South Africa and had come alone yet never felt alone. I felt that for Dr Samet, it’s a calling his work. He was very warm, caring, and his team is incredible. My translator Ece was so patient with me and always available to assist even at night. The thoroughness in the tests even revealed things that were never picked by doctors back home, I’m forever grateful. The aftercare is so amazing. May God continue to use Dr Samet and team to help more people like me and show them love that they feel home away from home.

Prof Samet has to be the best surgeon in the entire world !!!! That’s my experience and opinion I was so thankful to have this Incredible man as my surgeon and his team who were superb !!! Hello, I’m from the United States and have struggled with weight issues for as long as I can remember. I've tried countless diets, worked with personal trainers, acupuncture and maintained a consistent gym and swimming routine. Despite my efforts, I needed additional help to achieve lasting results.

After extensive research, I found Professor Dr. Samet Yardımcı and his team, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. From the start, they were highly professional and attentive. The first 10 days post-surgery are critical, and their follow-up care during this period was exceptional. What truly sets Dr. Yardımcı apart is that he’s a gastroenterological surgeon, specializing in this field, unlike many general surgeons.

I’m now back for my 30-day follow-up and feel absolutely fantastic. Initially, I was a bit skeptical and had heard stories about pain and complications, but my experience has been nothing but amazing, there was no pain after all. I had a sleeve gastrectomy, and I was up and walking the same day. I started at 160kg (352 lbs) and am now down to 147kg (324 lbs). I’m excited for what the future holds.

I arrived 30/09 quite late in the evening, staff were very friendly and a few hrs later I was having bloods taken and an ECG, so all very quick and positive so far. My op took place that afternoon on the 1st October. Dillon my translator was amazing, as also was Mevce the girl Friday (dietician, care co-ordinator and Surgical Administrator). Dr Yardimci, MD was lovely and visited me every morning and afternoon to enquire on my progress which was nice (and such a lovely man too), everything was explained to me clearly from the beginning process to leaving and going forward into the coming weeks and months. All in all my experience was very relaxing given the last minute doubts I had in the air and if anybody has any doubts about this procedure or who to choose then I would definitely recommend the Hermes Clinics 10/10…I am so happy with my choice

I was received with so much joy and care it made my procedure less scary. All the staff were helpful especially Dilan, who was my translator and Nida, I was short of nothing. Dr Samet checked on me daily with a team of Doctors until checkout day, that made me feel valued considering how busy their schedules are. I had an amazing time here and first class experience, I can't wait to come back and share the results of my procedure. ❤️

Had my gastric sleeve 3 weeks ago, dr samet was brilliant, he even told me i had a hernia and they removed it, it was causing me some serious reflux and not had reflux once since my op, he came to see me same day and everyday after untill i left, he was brilliant. Would highly recommend

Had my gastric sleeve surgery just over a year ago with professor Samet. And all I can say is how brilliant he was. Came too see me the same day after the op, also he came every day after that to check on me. Would 100% recommend

I had gastric sleeve surgery with Dr but I was so disappointed. He didn’t care about his patient he didn’t meet me before surgery to talk about the procedure on surgery day I didn’t see him god knows if he was the one who did the surgery or not only two day after surgery he came and talked and left. Doctor who doesn’t care about his patient, doesn’t make connections, doesn’t try to understand whom he is doing surgery with is not worth anyone’s trust!!!!!

I traveled all the way from Guyana 🇬🇾 to Turkey for my gastric sleeve. The service has been exceptional. I'm almost one month post-op and my surgery has been successful. I have no complaints. Dr. Samet has been really amazing and visited me every day after surgery when I was in the hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Samet & his entire team.
