Samsung Frame - NZ Support - Terrible Product & Service
I bought a very expensive Samsung frame TV about 8 months ago. It started showing ads on the actual TV Menu Bar and then they appeared to have installed some unwanted Samsung TV channel which keeps showing up with foreign language content as opposed to the content I have chosen to have in my home and when I try and turn it off, it turns on my Playstation turns on (no kidding) that is plugged into the TV, which is dangerous and they can overheat.
I tried removing the junk TV channel and the super intrusive advertising but can't. I checked online and saw tons of unhappy Samsung customers complaining about this and saying that this super annoying content and advertising can't be removed. People seem to feel that they thought they were buying a TV only to find out that they'd actually bought a Samsung advertising billboard, which they had stupidly paid to install in their living rooms.
I called support and they had me write statements, send videos, images etc and it's been two weeks, I have contacted them about 10 times and have had to unplug my devices to avoid a potential house fire and no one has got back to me.
All support calls are directed to Manilla call centres and they don't do anything. I did get an email response but the content was like two lines and irrelevant.
I honestly will never buy a Samsung product again. The advertising intrusion and the lack of support demonstrates a complete lack of care for the customer. I am really disgusted and am considering taking a hammer to a $3,500 TV I bought less than a year ago.
not happy with the non-existent…
not happy with the non-existent customer support. bought appliances under the cashback tv+soundbar promo. submitted the redemption and the required prrof of purchase and serials. however, more than a month has gone by and not even a single acknowledgement if they have received the claim. tried chat support, pointed me to phone number. called number, no one picks up, goes to voicemail that is overflowing already so really no way to contact them! this is soon going to fairgo.
++++
just received my cashback ~45 days after filing the redemption. although the T&E said 30 days but what i am not happy about was the total absence of communications from samsung about the progress.
Bought a Samsung Galaxy TabPro S tablet…
Bought a Samsung Galaxy TabPro S tablet with a keyboard/case. After about three years the keyboard stopped working. Samsung said they couldn't provide a replacement (even if I was prepared to pay for it). Took Samsung to the Disputes Tribunal and was awarded the cost of buying a complete replacement (tablet and keyboard/case) from Amazon which was more than the original purchase price. Had a lot of trouble getting the money out of Samsung but did in the end.
