DO NOT ORDER!!
My order took 3 weeks and when it arrived a 6 yr old couldn’t fit into my $80 cheap Chinese thick wool sweater that is synthetic and lousy quality.
Don’t waste your money or your time trying to contact them!

I did not receive my order. I have been trying to contact them without success. Online, this is identied as a scam using a play on legitimate business to sell inferior or nonexistent clothes items the customer never receives

I purchased a dress on 10/03/2026 for $69.95 with zero shipping costs. The dress did arrive with no problems to it except I needed a larger size. The dress arrived 10/14/2026. In my email that I sent I mentioned that dress didn't fit and I didn't want to order the next size. I asked them to send me return shipping label.They offered me 10% refund for cost of dress and that I can keep the dress. I sent another email and they got back offering 20% refund for the cost of the dress. Again I sent another email telling them I want a full refund and a return shipping label. Then I received an email offering me 30% refund for cost of dress and to keep dress. The email gave the complete address back to China. Again I sent another email wanting to know why I couldn't return to Hialeah,FL USA where the dress was shipped from. I told them I live in the USA and asked why I couldn't send dress back to Hialeah, FL USA. Then I received another email again offering 30% refund for cost of dress and to keep the dress. If I wanted full refund then I will have to mail dress to China and pay all the custom, taxes, fees. They also wanted a tracking number. All these back and forth emails happened over a 48 hour period. Needless to say my next email I sent them told them I'll take the 30% and keep the dress. Within 2 hours I got a confirmation stating that the 30% credit was issued to my credit card. I definitely will never purchase another item from Brooks Family Santa Barbara. I've been scammed!!! False advertisement. On their site it mentions Easy Returns. Hope no one else buys from them.

Don’t order from this store. I purchased clothes a month ago and still haven’t received them. Sent two emails to the company and get no response.

Don’t buy from here! I bought M shirt online. The shirt came a month later in probably XS. No tag! The online tracker showed steps for customs. It probably came from China. They are copying the real Santa Barbara store I think. Awful! For returns it says you have to call a number and get an authorization for return, then pay for shipping and any custom fees.
I just donated the shirt to the local WINGS.

Orthopedic shoes?
Only if these are the shoes an orthopedic doctor tells you to NOT buy.

Took forever to arrive and they are terrible.

I ordered a mens sweater on 9/14/2026 from Santa Barbara located (so it said) in Franklin Park, IL. I live just 113 miles away in Wisconsin. The ad had a picture of a black knit sweater with camel colored suede around the collar and patches on each elbow. I had been in communication continually with this company due to the lack of details with the tracking. I couldn't understand why the item was delivered to a port of destination, etc., when it was just one state away. After about 4-5 emails with no satisfaction I decided to wait it out. The package was delivered on 9/27/2026. I opened the package and immediately saw red. I am livid! The item was NOT A SWEATER it was a nylon top with a poorly look a like knit design in the material and the so called beige patched were beige nylon also. It was an extremely cheap shirt that was on sale from $60.00 to $38.00 .Beware of this rip off company and any of their knock-off companies ie: Fashion Outlets of Chicago, Grace and Olivia, etc., etc.! They bait and switch.....BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a coat on sale. It was listed as 5X. I try to buy a big larger and it is usually more than large enough. It was listed as WOOL.
When it arrived it was packaged in a clear, ziplike bag and the mailing 'box' was a plastic, white bag with black interior. Cheap, cheap, cheap and should never have held a 5X wool coat. The body of the coat was more like a 1x. The sleeves were way too long and the fabric tag said it was 95% polyester and 5% cotton. This company is a scam. They do not answer their phones. I have sent the original photo from their online catalog and its description to Santa Barbara and no reply.
I sent an email with the order number of my item and said I require a return label sent to me snail mail as I do not own a computer/printer and am disabled. Have heard nothing but 1 reply requesting photos.

False advertising. Extremely unfriendly return policy. Takes forever to receive items

Took weeks to get the package and when I did it was full of garbage. The products don’t look like the photos. Everything smells like fast fashion gas odor. Super awful.

I’ve requested a full refund. We’ll see if that happens.

Should be zero stars. The Brooks Family of Santa Barbara is indeed a Chinese scam.
I ordered 2 shirts, each one size larger than I normally wear. What arrived will not fit my 12 year old, slender granddaughter. Returns to China are on you, so, you get to keep the product, AND…they said they will give me a 20% refund. 20%, after I laughed at the first 10% offer.
I stupidly spent $90, and that is on me.
I hope someone reads this before they do something stupid and order from anything resembling Brooks Family.

This was such a disappointment. Beware. I ordered cute shoes that had orthopedic in the title. The web site states so confident you will be happy a full refund within 30 days if not. I was not happy. When I asked about returning, I was told I had to return to China with tracking at my expense and an added fee. My package arrived from a us address, yet I'm responsible to return to china??? Very disappointing. Shop amazon or local. So much easier if you are not satisfied.

The item came weeks late. But what came is not at all what I thought I ordered. I ordered the Orelisse boot western. It looks like a rubber rainbow no distressing no aging. They’re worth $10 at most not to mention they don’t even fit. It’s a scam of a website.

The order took a long time. The custo.er support email did not wor. The product was misrepresented. It was advertised as silk. It was polyester.

You can't return without paying postage higher than cost of purchase. They know this and offer 20% back and you keep the item (which I don't want as it's poor quality)
They went by Chelsea Boutique in my order. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM

Like others have mentioned, do not order from here!

First of all, I was under the impression I was ordering from a US company "The Santa Barbara Boutique." I saw a sweater on an influencer and was on vacation so I did not do my normal due diligence.

In addition to the sweater I ordered (which looked exactly like the photos/influencer video), I ordered what I thought were 2 linen style shirts (per the pictures) and I received 2 ugly uniform looking shirts!

When you reach out to inquire about returns/exchanges, they are very responsive. However if something does not look as pictured, it is cost prohibitive to even attempt to return the items and they know/rely on that. They'll ask you to send pictures and after they do a "thorough review," they'll tell you it's a best seller and there may be some slight differences/variations in fabric (ha!) but it's what you ordered. Jokes on you!! They'll then offer you 20% back then 30% (max) when you say you want to return (which is at your expense - to CHINA!) and you can "keep" the items. It now loks like my $50 sweater is going to cost me $100. Thankfully it is actually really cute. This has been frustrating and annoying. Just don't do it!!!

I ordered a pair of shoes online that turned out to be very much not true to size (way too small). This store makes it extremely difficult to return orders - it's taken multiple emails back and forth and they refuse to pay for my return shipping. Absolutely not worth the money or effort, and I will not be buying from them again.

Ordered shoes. Got them but they were two sizes smaller than what I ordered. Reached out several times to return but no reply. Do not trust this company!

This company is a total scam! DO NOT order from here!!!! They do answer their emails within 24 hours so you think all is legit.
If you have no intentions of returning anything, and you don’t mind the smell of the clothes, and the quality isn’t as exactly pictured, then I guess you can order from here.
I had ordered a $55 item with a $5.99 welcome discount. All that sounds like a normal legit website (thinking it’s a nice item because of the price and because they had a discount code). So I thought, why not. I should’ve done my homework and did the reviews, but unfortunately, I did not.
It took about two weeks for my order to come because it was coming from China (which I didn’t know because it was Santa Barbara boutique which you would think is in California - as pictured on the website).
I wanted to return the item for all reasons I stated (and the package did come from Illinois).
At first they offered me suggestions on keeping it by washing it, etc. and I stated from the very beginning saying all I want was a full refund. The next email came and they offered me a 20% off. Again, stating that I just wanted a full refund.
Then another email came that they would give me 30% off. Again, stating that I just wanted a return label sent to me so I can return this and get my full refund (as stated in their website).
So finally, they sent me a form (not a return label) wanting five different things sent to them via email (RMA, photo of item, tracking information, copy of receipt and customs declaration).
So I get the address, pack everything up, fill out the address label, and I go to the post office. They told me it’s going to be $33 to send it back, but, that it will not have any tracking information. If I wanted that, it would be $66 to go to China, which I had no choice to do if I wanted a full refund (the lady at the post office did tell me that it was a scam too. That they may even tell me that they didn’t get the item and now I would be out double the price. She says this happens a lot). This company knew it was gonna be a hefty postage fee. Why couldn’t they have been upfront about it or put this on their website?
Very disappointed with this whole process. It was very exhausting, frustrating, and a waste of my time!!! In the end, they gave me 30% off, so I’m out $38, when the item was probably only worth $9.99!

This is the same Scam company as Malibu Boutique that went out of business recently.They have just changed the name. I tried to return an order due to the extremely poor quality of the clothing and the warehouse wouldn't accept the package so I am out $216. If you look at the review for Malibu Boutique here on Trustpilot,they had a 1.2 rating. Now they are trying the same scam on Santa Barbara Boutique. NOT buy from them!!
