A very well organized tour
Good information, reasonably priced, baggage transport smooth, mostly very good avcomodation. The agritourist place, Casa Assumta was very, very good - good food and vert friendly host. And Hosteria San Martin Pinario was an very good experience at the end of the tour. Historic feeling and very friendly staff.
The Posada Chiquitin in Melide, however, would probably like to maintain a friendlier approach to their guests and they could easily be better on food. (You should also note that the address provided is not correct)
The issues concerning Posada Chiquetin did not, however, disturb our experience of a very well organized tour. Thank you ever si much!

SW are very professional, responsive and helpful. Especially María Alejandra Vilar who was the agent we dealt with. She made the process of setting up our itinerary, adapting it, and finalising it with suitable accommodation, meals, etc. She was also very responsive whenever we needed additional information pertaining to logistics and other aspects.

Our First Camino
Our walk was great. The weather was both overcast and sunny which made it perfect. The Camino itself was not crowded whatsoever. The food we ate on the Camino as well as in the towns where we stayed was really good. The accommodations were clean and simple allowing us to get needed rest.
Santiago Ways did an excellent job of organizing everything from Sarria to Santiago. The package they put together had all the information anyone would ever need on their first Camino. All contact information needed for the entire walk was provided in detail including photos of the paths, hotels, historical sites and places of interest ( No way you can get lost). For first timers, Santiago Ways put our minds at ease and that allowed us to have an exceptional time.

I think it is important to work with a reputable company to plan your 1st Camino. For more mature people having your luggage transfer was super helpful as well as your accommodations booked.
I believe having our accommodations and luggage transfers well organized were key, along with detailed information about the routes and history of the many sites we could stop and enjoy, helped to make our experience enjoyable. As mature professional women having these details looked after, left us with time to just embrace the journey. Each accommodations were different but all with exceptional hospitality. Each day we were able to have a shower and take a rest in the afternoon, then head out for supper and attend the Pelegrinos Mass.(Which was the highlight of our journey)

My experience with Santiago Ways was…
My experience with Santiago Ways was overall very favorable. Working with Zachary was really the key to the success. He was very responsive each time I reached out.
The level of information on the many logistics of my pilgrimage was very helpful and appreciated! The luggage transfer process was flawless. The path of my luggage was following the Santiago Ways itinerary, but nevertheless, I was grateful to always see my bags upon arrival! Also, most properties were fairly close or on the Camino!
That said, some of the hotel choices need to be revisited before using again. I would suggest that SW’s own planning personnel go stay in them before recommending them. Some of them are listed on booking sites for very little money, and it’s easy to see why when you stay there. About a third of them were very dated establishments that didn’t rate with the level I paid for the accommodations. Most hotels and restaurateurs were welcoming and lovely! Overall, it was a very good experience, and I can recommend them. I would just be specific as to what you expect in a hotel property, which I should have done better.

Less worry while on Camino
We booked private rooms with private bath. All the accommodations were near the trail except for a farm stay in Arzua that was a great experience. All included meals were very conveniently at the hotels or near it. Our luggage was usually delivered by the time we arrived. I highly recommended using Santiago Ways so you can concentrate on your Camino and not worry about everything else.

Camino de Santiago to Fisterra – A Quiet, Scenic, and Rewarding Journey
I chose to walk the Camino to Fisterra for its lush greenery, scenic diversity, and relative tranquility compared to the more popular Sarria to Santiago route. This trail offers a beautiful blend of forest paths, rural landscapes, and, towards the end, spectacular coastal views — all with minimal urban intrusion. For someone seeking peace, solitude, and a deeper connection with nature, this route is ideal.
My arrangements with Santiago Ways were limited to accommodation bookings and baggage transfers. While the services were quite basic, they were carried out reliably and without any issues. The accommodation options were very good — a mix of comfortable lodges, charming rural inns, and a couple of well-appointed 3-star hotels, which offered a nice variety throughout the journey.
As a birder, the quieter and greener Finisterre route provided an excellent opportunity to immerse myself in nature. I was able to spot 52 bird species along the way, which was one of the highlights of my journey. The peaceful trails allowed me to take my time, observe birdlife, and enjoy the changing landscapes without the distractions of crowds or heavy urban development.
Unlike the Sarria–Santiago stretch, which is great for socializing and meeting fellow pilgrims, the Finisterre route offers a more introspective experience. Of course, you still meet kindred spirits along the way, but the focus here is more on nature, solitude, and personal reflection.
Overall, this was a memorable and fulfilling adventure — perfect for nature lovers, birders, and those looking for a less-traveled and more serene Camino experience.

The accommodation and the luggage transfers had been close to flawless, except for maybe 1 accommodation that was further away from the Camino pathway but we managed to get the settled rather quickly.
